CAD Software Free CAD programs

Last week I downloaded the latest Version of FreeCAD and I'm in the process of learning it. I found some good tutorials on YouTube ( ) and have been plugging away at them.
FreeCAD has some good features I like but there are some things missing that I got used to in TurboCAD. Maybe they are there but I just haven't found them yet. And if I start using FreeCAD as my goto CAD program I will definitely make $ contributions to support the project. I like Open Source.

I use Fusion360 for everything that I design for 3D printing, and I use SketchUp for all of my woodworking projects.

Does anyone out there use Siemens Solid Edge CAD for 2D drafting? I am installing it currently on my other PC as I need to do some architectural plans. I used to use AutoCAD years ago for 2D, but more recently have used SolidWorks for 3D modelling, and now Siemens NX for 3D at work. I am very much a Neanderthal at 3D CAD, but I get by. I think this Solid Edge might be great for 2D stuff which I struggle to do in the 3D packages.

Forgot to mention, apparently Solid Edge is free .
