Have not launched a single thing since May 2013. All local launches (LUNAR and SARG) have been cancelled since September due to lack of rain. Yes LACK of rain ... the fields are too dry. And, recently found out the local club SARG has lost the field we launched on due to developers. <rant over>

Anyone know the proper CG for this kit? Looked on LOC we site and the instructions provided and nothing. Making some modifications (longer mm, rail buttons etc. And want to be sure the CG is still within acceptable limits. Thanks :)

About to start this kit. Was thinking of cutting ends off the plastic transition and making it a baffle system. Or placing a baffle just aft of the transition. I would either make it a traditional NC separation or zipper less. Also putting in a longer MM tube and 10/10 rail buttons...

Which should I do .... D and (4) C or (7) C cluster for this kit? The first is 142g in motor weight whereas the second is 170g in weight. With this small kit I am leaning toward the D and (4) C plus easier to ignite. Thoughts? Regardless of your preference which motors should I use too? Thanks

I am pondering this modification and was wondering if I would need to add some nose weight. If so would it be the same weight I have added to the rear (ie the weight of 4x18mm motors) or something different? Thanks

Almost done with my Madcow Skipper. Instructions say the CG should be 32.25 from nose tip. I measured and marked, loaded a casing and motor bigger (heavier) than I anticipate using and put in the recovery as well. Balanced the rocket and its balance point is a good 3-4 inches further forward...
