Same for SARG launch.... unless we get several days of rain each week we'll not see November Launches on the prairie grass.

If the November launch happens, I'll be there. I'm also planning o bring my Webelos den to Snow Ranch in December. Which reminds me, I should shoot an email to the LUNAR president...

Looks like Building Season in Cali is going to last a month or two longer this year.

Yup way too dry right now and with no rain in the near future it's pretty sure a no go.
Good news is there is TCC October Skies this weekend if you can make it.

It's my first time flying off a growing field like I see from folks back East. It's nice. Of course finding C-size rockets is impossible in alfalfa--Leah is missing the top of her 1" breakaway. The Minie Magg did real well though--sadly no photos until I get back home as iPhone's photos are too big for the forum--I have to resize them.

Ari, I was keeping an eye out for you, wanted to introduce myself in person - sorry I didn't see you. Were any of of Saturday's gliders yours? I was loading my rocket on the HPR pad when a pair of gliders were launched simultaneously.

Oh Hi Bill. That was Kevin and his brother. I got there later. I'm easy to recognize by the big red ambulance I drive. I did drag-race Kevin a similar glider today (mine has R/C) but mine crashed right off the pad.

I was trying to improve on this flight, but using a TCC pad instead of my own, and failing to account for the fact that mine tilts down and their can only point up.

If too dry for SARG and LUNAR... and TCC to far... and you need to fly... you could try the Nevada clubs a little closer that TCC.

May have to doing the rain dance. Doubtful there will be launches in November and December's not looking promising either. Grrrr.
