EVENT QCRC Monthly Club Launch

So, this Saturday, Nov 18th is the first QCRC club launch since MidWest Power.
Got anything left over? Bring it out to fly. Looks like it could be a good weekend. I unfortunately will not attend. Family things going on.
But I’ll have that waiver call in for you. 9A to 2-3P, or when you run out of stuff to fly.

It was a beautiful day for rockets at the QCRC launch on Saturday. Fantastic weather, a little breezy in the afternoon but clear as a bell. The turnout was great, a lot more people turned up than I expected.

We had at least one Level 1 certification! Congratulations!! Also, the U of I team had a succesful 2-stage launch which was great to see, sadly I didn't get any pictures of their successful flight.

I flew my 4" Formula 98 on my favorite 54mm K motor, the K480 - to about 7800'.



The level 1 Sandhawk is on the right, and my Formula 98 is waiting it's turn to fly on the K480.
