Read a decent number of articles in the "NAR Member Guidebook." I want to finish this before moving on to more advanced books. I'm almost there.

The Yard is one of the things I miss about moving away from Wichita. It's a great place for any 'maker' project!The Yard! Everything looks like the start of a great rocket project there.
Finished the 5 new HPR pads for our club (TriCities Rocketeers).
One would have to assume so, with only one week left of the year thereafter.Late season model rocket launch this afternoon. Maybe the last of the year.
Are you going to paint those pads before they get all rusty? Suggestion: Persian Orange #2.... :3
Fantastic! Way to go Grandpa!Yesterday I took my 8 year old grandson out for his first rocket launches! He was pumped. He got real good at engine prep, hooking up the micro clips (after checking to make sure the interlock key was out), launching and recovery! We flew the Big Bertha, Baby Bertha and an Alpha....
Did you use hot glue? I likewise am finding mine breaking apart at the glue seams. Considering using foam safe CA for a more permanent bond.Rebuilt our Fliskits Decaffeinator which, after many launches and several moves, found itself in many pieces. I think I might've added an extra section, but now it's very nearly six feet tall.
