I'm an MDRA member since last Fall . . . will I get laughed off the field at red glare with my mid power stuff?

That would be one heck of a motor.Am I reading that right? A 54mm O motor?!?!?
E-mail the board. bod 'at' mdrocketry 'dot' orgSeems like we are finally getting the upper hand on Covid and Weather comes back to bite us. I have family commitments Friday and Saturday, is there any chance someone will be at the field on Sunday in case there is a break in the weather? At least that I can pick up orders from the vendors?
Thank you!E-mail the board. bod 'at' mdrocketry 'dot' org
Had a good time, very different than the smaller launches I am used to. Not used to the slow pace of launches, only managed 5 launches in 6 hours.
Hmmm... didja have to tell me that? Maybe if I put the rocket in the passenger seat? Then the wife will be ticked I didn't bring her. Having a smaller car kinda stinks when it comes to transporting rockets and gear. It's a slippery slope, @Bill S! Most of them have couplers in the middle, so you can fit more than you think as long as you "split" them in the car!

I mean, there is absolutely NO chance that you will keep building larger and larger rockets until you need a truck or trailer.
Well given that I don't really have a viable place to work on larger rockets that need fiberglass work or epoxy fumes (no room on property for an outbuilding), there is a limit to what I can do in the basement and what my wife will put up with fume/dust-wise.

So why was Sunday canceled today? Weather is good your saying?Sad that Sunday is canceled (not that I could have gone), but today was PERFECT rocketry weather! Just wish my stupid igniters hadn't cost me most of the day -- thought I would be doing my L2 cert flight by lunchtime, and now I'll have to hope for April!
Still had a GREAT time seeing all the awesome projects!

I saw your rocket sitting out there, I had my fingers crossed! I had a similar experience with my King Kraken, spent 5 racks trying to get that rocket up and finally gave up and moved on.
Nice shots!
Thanks! Quite a struggle, but I got to watch a lot of OTHER rockets fly!
If anyone has any links to photo galleries, please share!
I have some photos and videos that I'll be posting, but I think I wasn't there in the morning for your I1299 cato.
Whose and what size Deuce was that? My avatar is my 98 mm on M1075s. (The same picture was also your 2019 Tripoli card.) Mine carried a video camera on the base between the motors.Sad that Sunday is canceled (not that I could have gone), but today was PERFECT rocketry weather!
