Earned my Level 1 certification on a stock-built 4” Mystic Buzz a year ago (May 2022) - see avatar picture.
Now, a year later, earned my Level 2 certification with the same rocket, but modified with an av-bay with an Eggtimer Quasar.
The Quasar fired its Single deployment at nose-over, with 1.5 grams bp, and a Jolly Logic contained the chute until 400’ AGL (it was windy), so didn’t have to go too far. Launch picture attached.
The voice module was a nice addition, and the LCD/GPS receiver worked very well.
The CTI J293 blue streak got her to 3,681 ft ; motor ejection was the backup deployment, but was not needed.
