I will start mine as soon as my dad finds time, he is building one with me!
:)

Here is a hint...
THE CARBON WARRIOR!

OK Almost all of the kits are out .
Were are all of the build threads ?

The Mini Shapeshifter was just so cool, I couldn't help myself! One more set of fillets and then rail buttons!

Thanks Tim!

Mine is currently under construction and since I work and go to school I am trying to get as much done as I can before this Monday when school begins.

Ordered motor retention yesterday, and ordered decals for my kits today, excellent contact with Mark from Stickershock and excellent prices too!
Thanks so much Mark!

Nate

I agree! Mark is a great guy to deal with. What did you get for the Mini Shape Shifter?

I had to go with the green! I thought about some other options, but the green just looks so darned awesome!!

I know what you mean. The green is by far the best. I too thought about getting them in a different colour to keep it more unique, but in the end went with the green 'cause as you say; "it just looks so darned awesome!" :)

5/6 kits washed last weekend will be no build threads though wife did in the digital camera its finally really busted , I bought BS propellent rather than a new Nikon lol

Quick question about the BH24: what type of epoxy does it come with? I think I saw somewhere it was Proline 4500 black, but to my completely untrained eye it looks just like rocketpoxy?

Rocket Poxy (this was done by matching the instruction sheet with my Black Hawk 24 epoxy with the instruction sheet that is linked to from the rocket poxy page on wildman's site...so not 100% sure since wildman's site appears to be the only place calling any product "rocket poxy")

Also, build yourself a stand for the upper part of the body tube (I used scraps) so that the rocket sits flat when it's in the fin guides-made the difference while building mine

Thanks for the replies and suggestions, all. on the Wildman website it says "super high temp epoxy" I am not very familiar with rocketpoxy's heat rating, but IMHO it wouldn't hurt to specify exactly what it is.

Thanks,
Nate

Came home from my latest excursion to find a 5lb box of "explosives" at the homestead. Not a lot, but probably a years supply as little as I get to fly. Thanx Wildman & Jackie!!

My motors and cases showed up today. I'm a little surprised (and a little saddened in an ocd way) to see black aerotech high power cases instead of the blue rousetech that I thought replaced all of them.

Now I'm second guessing myself, I just read the instructions for the blackhawk 24 and it says high temp proline....but the rocketpoxy instructions and my memory of the instruction sheet included with the epoxy roughly match. I'll grab them tomorrow and double check....I may be wrong

Wouldn't be the first time....won't be the last :)

The epoxy instructions are extremely similar to those included with rocketpoxy's.
It also refers to it as G5000 adhesive, the same thing rocketpoxy's instructions do.

Thank you Wildman...

Now we have work to do, as soon as my Dad can get the heat to stay above 50*..

What size case did you purchase from WM?
Aerotech 29/180 complete and 29/360 tube only. I already had a blue 29/240 (with black and gold closures because our vendor pieced it together with what he could find). Also bought a 24/40, 24/60, and CTI 29-5, but those were the colors I expected.

Still no shipping notice. Tim, have all the orders for kits been processed? Shipped?
