Roachwerks 1/12 scale 4x24mm Nike-Hercules. I actually purchased it from another TRF member. Long OOP, but Boyce Aerospace makes a similar 3D print version. What kit is that?
Here are your blue stripes I didn't know how to do the crowns.Very nice. Reminds me of the Croatian flag . Have you thought about adding just a bit of blue anywhere?
I went to quick care. They sent me to the ER. After hours waiting on test results the word was I'm normal. I'll see a Neurologist as soon as I can get an appointment.Sounds neurological too me (OR/ER experience). A bit late to have a white cell count done, an elevated level may have indicated seizures. Get a checkup and a neuro exam if you can.
I've had a few unexplained seizures in the past and afterwards you want to look for the truck that hit you. Sore all over.
Just finished making flash cards, started studying for my L2 exam. Torn between the “Keep it low, go easy”, school of thought and the DRD4 mentality of “Stick it on the Dark Side of the Moon”.
Oh I’m definitely going to send one for a Personal Best, just don’t know if it will be my L2 certificate flight or the flight right after. Why not do both? Level 2 - build 2 rockets. Gives you twice the chance of succeeding on your chosen day. Of course, when you get to Level 3, that could start getting expensive....
I don't know if that dismal failure contributed to this impulse purchase, but a local hobby shop had a small scale model of a Long March 2F and for some reason I had to buy it.
How's Foreigner going these days? I listen to them a lot.Took her and My Wife to see Foreigner in concert
Bear it mind that when the temperature is a bunch higher, the cure time is less than what's printed on the bottle.Epoxy run to the local hobby shop today... Whether that's true or not, attaining 70 degrees here will pose no problem whatsoever.
Start small.Gotta get my arse back in gear and build/fly some stuff!!!
When there's a club launch coming up, I've been known to get a base coat on and fly'm "in their underwear".Maybe flying nekid would be the way to go.
Decals. Here are your blue stripes I didn't know how to do the crowns.
Considering that bringing the rocket back is a key requirement, I'd go with low and easy.Torn between the “Keep it low, go easy”, school of thought and the DRD4 mentality of “Stick it on the Dark Side of the Moon”.
That's why I'll never build a cruise missile model. It just seems like tempting fate.2-stage Tomahawk cruise missile on E12, which had horizontal ignition of the sustainer, located 1/4 mile away.

Love the fins and the whole rocket. Different. Victory on your maiden flight.I finished this rocket about a week ago. It has taken a week to get over some mystery sickness that started last Friday. Let me preface the rest of the story with I don't drink. I was in Vegas for a couple of hours midday Friday. I was at a light ready to get on the highway. That was the last thing I remember for about 20 minutes. I stopped to get gas. As I was pulling out onto the road I blacked out again for about 45 minutes. I remember looking at the side of the highway where a high speed chase had ended. Blacked out again for about another 20 minutes. I remember looking at the clock at 3:45 and thinking that I had forgotten to stop at BMS to pick up an order. The next ting I remember was looking at the clock at 10:30 and going to bed. I had multiple attacks of vertigo Fri, Sat and Sunday. Slept from Fri to Sunday afternoon. I just started to feel better yesterday. I'm at about 75% of normal today. Anybody have any idea what happened to me?
The rocket is a 3", 75" long, weighs 85 ounces with the chutes. It is dual deploy and has a 54mm mmt. All the red is paint. I wrapped 4 pieces around the tube and cut out the squares. I sprayed the area to be made red with the white base coat to seal the tape edges. It was the first time I've done that and it worked great. Used the same technique on the fins roll pattern. I'm calling this one Victor.View attachment 470187View attachment 470188
