I would assume the merch prices will be the same as online.. I assume they need to cut things off at a particular time so they can sit & organize our 'swag bags'. You'll see at registration, when you show up, they ask for your name then cross it off the 'attendance' list. They will then hand you a bag / envelope with the event basics* and the particular stuff you bought / requested [shirts, pins, BBQ ticket, raffle tickets, etc..] The event organizers will be taking the next few days doing this. (and they have hundreds to fill, so let's all be nice if they forgot something..)
There is typically a "flyers meeting" every morning, then the National Anthem, then pads are open!!
The field may be closed on a particular day, due to rain. this kills the field (mud mush, cars get stuck, etc..) till it dries. Don't bitch about it, we're all in the same boat.. Go visit a winery instead...
* basic items usually:
- lanyard & event tag
- flight cards
- pen
- garbage bag
- Newsletter: list of rules & regs / event schedule / map of area - that sort of thing
- and sometimes something special for the event: sticker, water bottle, patch, J420-R, etc..
