For gaming on a budget, if you are an Amazon Prime member, you have access to free games. It's a rotating list of games of various types, from indie puzzlers to oldclassics to AAA games that are a few years old. And once you claim a game, it's yours to keep forever.

Even if we cancelled our Prime account, I probably have enough free games to last the rest of my life.

I think the last time I played a video game was 1985 and he played mario or Super Mario or something like that. But my grandson gave me his steering wheel and foot pedal control so that I could try and see if I could work things and join up with iracing.

Just finished a playthrough of Star Wars: KOTOR. The game so good George Lucas declared it canon, with Darth Revan's spirit being shown in an episode of Clone Wars.
Excellent games, and they have aged well too. The stories of Revan is the Star Wars series or movie I want to see .

Got IL-2 Sturmovik Flying Circus on order
Mine stopped working last summer and tech support hasn't been able to help me 🙁 A shame, I love WW1 aircraft and it's an excellent (and good looking) sim. And I was looking forward to the new content.

Cliffs of Dover still works (it's a different engine), and is also pretty great.

The first original IL-2 Sturmovik I still have and when I played it for the first time I was
amazed as you could see the empty brass falling away from under the wings and you could shoot up an enemy
parachute causing the death of the pilot . Plus I kept all of the airplane skins on a separate jump drive for future
reference . The only think I hate about the new versions of IL-2 Sturmovik is you half to use Steam and can not play the
game offline plus there is no DVD

Used to - it seems they just don't interest me as much as building models, electronic projects, woodworking, etc.
I am a total people person at work but people mostly don't exist on the web.
My son still plays but I just can't get interested.

My last big run with gaming was 2014/2015 with the Legend of Grimrock Grid RPG's and World of Warships.
I loved WoW until it became popular and filled up with the usual garbage. At the beginning, it was warship geeks, retired military, the academies, and the war colleges. - Freaking awesome, gentlemanly combat, cooperation, and good interaction with others. Discussions on reality, merits, etc.

When someone figured out they could adjust the lag on their Ethernet Card to dodge incoming, I was done with it. I'm sure they fixed it instantly but the fun died with that person. People that have to steal money from the Bank to win Monopoly don't deserve to be entertained. Understanding that the goal is to have fun is lost in the desire to get one up. Phew.

My Best of the Best: Master of Orion II
The old Wing Commander Games
World of Warships until...

I used to play Call Of Duty on a daily basis but at some point I realized that it was pretty much the same old thing every time they released a new game.

Plus I don't have lightning reflexes or the fastest Internet required for "quick scoping".

Now I just use my Xbox 360 to play Pinball (offline).

I'd like to get a PS5 Slim, but it's over $600 by the time you get the game and the online subscription, and I can't justify that kind of money.

On the other hand, spending $900 on rocket motors is a no-brainer, right? Oh, I really liked Call Of Duty too. Thanks for sharing. But, now I like everything related to online casinos. And I often use this weblink https://topcasinosreviews.in/casino/windaddy/ to read a high-quality review of similar sites. This helps me choose the most favorable conditions and avoid making mistakes. It`s really great news!

Oh, I really liked Call Of Duty too.

This thread got me a little nostalgic, so I bought a one month Xbox Live Gold card to see if anyone was in the old lobbies...

Well...

Apparently Activision sold to Microsoft, and they reopened the old COD lobbies.. it was slim pickings to find an active game, and usually only in the evenings.

All was good until I unknowingly entered a modded lobby. My rank was maxed out at 70, and now the game freezes when I try to play.

It's a known exploit but not one that I was aware of.

Oh well.

I was trying out a flight sim during spring break (dcs) and fixed my stick, I have always had a love hate relationship with flight sims I’ll play for a while give up and then come back.
