Custom Nose Cone

Do you know of any companies that will make a custom carbon fiber nose cone? If not, do you have any tips on how to make it on your own? Also, do radio frequencies for telemetry go through carbon fiber?

Can't help you with sourcing a manufacturer, but the effect (adverse) of carbon fiber on RF transmission has been discussed at length here on the forum.

If you want to make your own robopup and watheyak have great thread on how they make their nosecones for their rockets. I'm in the middle of making a mold very similar to theirs and so far it has been working very well. If you don't want to use a pressure bladder, you can make a clam shell mold instead. Effectively the same process they do but without the backfilling or the added steel. tfish makes clam shell molds and gets some really nice results.
