ASROC Sorta Scale

Hi all,

I just received the new Peter Alway booklet titled "Selected US Navy Missiles of the Cold War" and I'm thinking of building a 6 inch dia 54mm motor ver of that rocket. my question is the custom N/C, not sure i can find one on the web, might need to scratch build it

The Asroc nose cone length to width ratio is pretty small, so I’m not sure what you will find commercially. Reminds me of the IR seeker dome on the AIM-9B. I scratch built a BT-60 sized Asroc, turning the cone on an electric drill. Turned out passable. Six inch beast, well that’s another story.
