Perhaps ATGM missed something? Charlie has been working on this thread very well. Not to mention that he DOES have a regular job at AT that requires his full attention. To be honest, I am surprised he has been able to follow the thread this well. Let's try cutting him some slack. He's doing way more than any of us expected. Anything he does here is above and beyond. Let's remember that and let at least a few of the snide comments slide.
I won't get into a battle of the MEMES right now but let's recap:
I have not heard anything about it, I'll see if Karl knows about it. We have not had any reports of failures on the new L1000 DMS motor.
This was me responding to what was proposed to be a NEW incident at Potter. That is why I asked for the date. Still no reports of the NEW L1000s failing.
As for the L1000, we have no reports as of right now.
Should have clarified: no issues reported by anyone on the NEW L1000
There was a failure at Potter of an old L1000. As of yet, no one has contacted us. If you have this flyers info, please inbox me.
His L1000 was warrantied with a previously unaffected lot number. He didn't receive a NEW L1000 until after the Potter launch. So this is correct, no one has contacted us regarding another L1000 issue at Potter. There was the one and that was it. On August 23 another poster brought up a failure at Potter, but didn't have any other info.
So to summarize:
Post 327 July 27- the L1000 failure at Potter is first mentioned and even gets its own thread.
Post 351 July 30- I reply that "
We have not had any reports of failures on the new L1000 DMS motor."
Post 361 July 30- A member posts a flickr link to the failure. Why not just post the link to the thread about the discussion? It was posted 3 days prior and may offer more insight:

Post 395 Aug 11- There are still no reports of any issues with the NEW L1000s. I even asked for the flyers info (though by this time Karl was handling it)
Post 453 Aug 23- A member mentions an L1000 failure at Potter.
Post 458 Aug 24- I respond and finish the question with WHEN WAS IT LAUNCHED? I am still trying to determine if this is a different event than the one that was reported a month ago. Turns out it is the same issue, and we just ran in circles. Rinse. Repeat.
Moving forward, it is up to the flyer to contact us regarding a warranty issue. Nothing else will help us solve the problem. MESS reports don't get sent to us. I can't comb through threads trying to find issues. I check one thread regularly and it is this one. Also, THERE HAVE BEEN ZERO ISSUES WITH THE NEW L1000. I hope this clears up any confusion.
