The outer skin will have to be replaced after sitting unmaintained for 44 years in the Alaskan weather. What they're after is the center structure, the wing root spar and fuselage formers as well as certain items inside. There's enough outer skin to make many thousands of 1"x1" patches.
 
Come to Nebraska and see this one at the Strategic Air and Space Museum. I was on a private tour in November and got to tour the interior. It was a beauty.
 
I love B-25's!! I've worked on them and have been flight engineer after rebuilds. Awesome warbirds. I'm gonna donate on this one.
 
It's great to see another WWII Warbird (hopefully) on it's way back to flying. I was hoping it was a B model. Would love to see one in one of the Doolittle Raiders markings.
