expanding my workshop to house a bunch of 3d printers.
Did you have to get a Permit for this project?Beautiful day here, so...Rode bike 70 miles. Went to library and out for wings/pizza lunch with family. Mounted and wired inside head of new garage ductless mini split. Grilled tuna steaks for dinner.
So. Very. Tired.
Spent yesterday waiting for the repair guys to get back to me about fixing my zero-turn mower.Worked on the push mower. Y'know, maybe I ought to properly service it more than once a decade.
That seems at least somewhat rocketry relatedMore board games with my wife. This one is called Brave New Worlds and is about exploring the Solar System, sending orbiters, landers, and crewed spacecraft to different bodies. Major and more distant bodies are worth more points. It was looking good for me with my Jupiter balloon probe racking up tons of points, but my wife's landing of a crew on Charon got her enough points to end the game with a come-from-behind victory.

Contemplated our language. If the plural of Ox is Oxen, then the plural of Fox should be Foxen. Also Box - Boxen.
And a baby Duck is a Duckling, so a baby Dog should be a Dogling.
And a person born on Earth is an Earthling, so a Duckling is prolly someone born on a Duck.
And a Changeling is someone on a tight budget.
This is why I'm not writing kit instructions today.
If a vegitarian eats vegtables, what does a humanitarian eat?
Some Nordic languages would refer to a bunch of different objects of the same type by putting "en" after the name so boxes would become boxen if they're all different.
Pacifists.
Makes perfect sense to me. I now declare the day after Christmas 'Boxen Day', 'cause all the presents were in different sized boxes.
My observation comes from computer geek-talk. Computers of different types/brands are frequently referred to as "boxen", different types of pointing devices as "mousen", etc.
English is to languages as bar-mat-juice is to cocktails.English is a Germanic-form language. You're right about the plural form(s).. However, there's another issue. If you have a bunch of the same kind of box, they're called "boxes". If you have a bunch of *different* kinds of boxes, they are still called boxes. Some Nordic languages would refer to a bunch of different objects of the same type by putting "en" after the name so boxes would become boxen if they're all different.
If peanut oil is made from peanuts, and corn oil from corn, then baby oil is OHHH NOOOOOOO!Contemplated our language. If the plural of Ox is Oxen, then the plural of Fox should be Foxen. Also Box - Boxen.

Practiced some Bach on my Kronos 88. If you look carefully you can see rocket parts in the background.
