Djouka (scratch built) 4” x 47”----
Short, fat, squat goodness. 4" FWFG construction, 54mm motor mount, setup for redundant altimeters, GPS, etc. AV bay is optimized to fit a lot in a small space, with the aft bulkhead recessed to allow the largest possible motor in such a short airframe. "Homemade HEDend" mains deployment, drogueless apogee.
This has not been flown yet!! It's about 98.7 percent completed, and just needs a tiny bit of tweaking to be ready to fly. Build quality is excellent, and everything is "like new". Unpainted, and you could probably leave it that way if you want as it looks great as is (I was going to paint it though).
Can include a RockSim file. It's pretty good, but has not been finalized/adjusted for actual finished weight/mass and such. A lot of folks probably don't even do this anyway, and it will likely give you good sim results as is. But if you're like me, you can tweak and optimize the final bits and get more accurate sims if you wish.
It's built to fly on I/J motors between 2600' and 5000' roughly.

Included:

Kevlar harnesses, nomex blankets, rail buttons, stainless steel quicklinks, 54mm Aeropack retainer body.
Note that the AV bay also includes sled, wiring, rails, terminal blocks, charge wells, switches, hardware, battery holders, etc.

NOT INCLUDED (but "goes with this rocket" and can be bought as an option):
68" custom parachute (thin mil ripstop, similar to Rocketman)..........$30
54mm Aeropack retainer cap.............sold
RRC3 altimeter..................sold
RRC2+ altimeter (for backup)...............sold
BRB 70cm GPS tracker......................sold

Asking price..........$200

the Brucolac (scratch built) 2.7” x 57”----
Nicely built, BlueTube airframe, AC ply fins, PML plastic nosecone. AV coupler is made to accept a 38mm Featherweight AV bay (with a Raven). Nosecone has a built in tracker bay. Very good to excellent build quality, sweet paintjob (though with a decent bit of “use” on it now), great shape, and really nice flyer. Lightweight for performance.
RockSim file is pretty good, though it tends to be a bit “optimistic” on max altitude. Flies great on H/I/J motors between 2400’ and 7500’ (and beyond).

Included:
38mm threaded SlimLine retainer body, kevlar recovery harnesses, nomex blankets, quicklinks, rail buttons, rivets.

NOT INCLUDED (but "goes with this rocket" and can be bought as an option):
38mm Slimline retainer threaded cap............Sold
48” Spherachute.................sold
15” custom drogue……………..sold
Raven altimeter..................sold
Featherweight 38mm AV bay…………$34

Asking price..........$65

Raspulescent (scratch built) 2.1/2.6” x 64”----
Very sweet two-stage rocket. BlueTube airframe, carbon fiber wrapped AC ply fins, plastic nosecone and interstage coupler. Uses Landru 3D printed sleds, nosecone has a tracker bay built into it. Very good build quality, very good shape (though with some cosmetic “signs of use”). Flies on 38mm to 29mm motors.
RockSim file is very good. Flies anywhere from 5000’ to 14,000’ on H/I/J (booster) to G/H/I (sustainer) motors.

Included:
38mm Aeropack retainer body, 29mm Aeropac body, kevlar recovery harnesses, nomex blankets, quicklinks, rail buttons, rivets.
AV bay and Interstage Coupler include two Landru 3D printed sleds, with switches, wiring, charge wells, terminal blocks, (and special breakaway wires in sustainer).

Tepes (Blackhawk 38 bash) 38mm x 49”----
Wicked hi-performance minimum diameter screamer. Basically it’s a Blackhawk38 with some modified fins. “Carbonite” airframe, FWFG nosecone with composite tip, FG fins and not a whole lot else. Way light, and way fast. Excellent build quality and excellent condition.
Set up to accept a Featherweight AV bay and Raven. Friction fit motor retention.
RockSim file is pretty accurate. Flies I/J motors 7000’ to 10,000’ with ease, and can absolutely be pushed beyond that.

Included:
Kevlar shock cords, nomex/Kevlar blankets

NOT INCLUDED (but "goes with this rocket" and can be bought as an option):
30” TopFlite thinmil chute.................sold
36” custom ripstop streamer/drogue……….$4

Szegre (scratch built) 3” x 31”----
Built for the fun of it. 29mm motor mount, motor eject, single deploy. It’s essentially two plastic nosecones with a short bit of PML Quantum tube, and aircraft ply fins. It’s also got a ton of noseweight to make it stable. And it IS stable; flies great. It uses a long launch lug (heavy duty rod), but I once had issues with the rod at the field and had to make a quick and dirty “field repair” which resulted two holes for rail buttons. Cosmetically, the paint is pretty “road worn” (no way to keep that metallic silver looking new), but that just adds character! There is also one fin fillet that has a slight crack. All in all though, it’s still a solid (and fun) flyer.
The RockSim file is decent and gives good enough sims. I mostly flew this on G motors between 800’ and 1600’, but it could certainly go to beyond 3000’ on H if you wanted.

Included:
Kevlar shock cord, 29mm SlimLine retainer body (threaded style), kevlar chute protecter, quick links.

NOT INCLUDED (but "goes with this rocket" and can be bought as an option):
29mm SlimLine threaded ring............$6
53" custom parachute (thin mil ripstop, similar to Rocketman)..........$24

Asking price..........$42
SOLD!

Slug (scratch built)----
Built as a test bed for the SmartCone/Sled. 38mm FWFG airframe and G10 fins. Set up as a single deploy (electronic eject) but could easily be converted to dual deploy with the use of a CableCutter if you wanted to. Build quality is good (unpainted), and everything is in NEW condition because this has NOT flown yet! I never got around to finishing and flying this.
I’m not positive, but I believe the cone and sled are no longer available (which is too bad, because they are really quite slick).
No Rocksim file, but would be very easy to create one.
I’m pretty much pricing this to cover the 3D printed bits and the Stratologger (and even those at a discount). Basically you’d be paying for those and getting the retainer, build, and rocket itself for free.

Included:
Additive Aerospace 3D printed SmartCone and SmartSled, switch, 29mm AeroTech retainer (with cap).
This rocket DOES include the PerfectFlite Stratologger!

NOT INCLUDED:
Parachute, shock cord, rail buttons.

Asking price..........$100
SOLD!

PKM (semi kit-bashed Painkiller Mini by Gary T.) 38mm x 33”----
Another sweet little FWFG whoosh-pop rocket. This time with a 24mm motor mount. Thinwall airframe and polycarbonate nosecone. Was only available as a kit for a short time and everyone who got one loves it, everyone who missed them is sad. Motor eject, single deploy, for quick and easy flying. THE perfect rocket for those way cool CTI 24mm motors. Build quality is pretty good. It's only flown five or six times and so is in great condition.
Can include a pretty good RockSim file for it. F/G motors between 1000' and 3000'.

Included:

24mm (Rocketarium?) retainer body, kevlar shock cord, kevlar blanket, rail buttons.

NOT INCLUDED (but "goes with this rocket" and can be bought as an option):
24mm screw-on retainer cap............$6
24" TopFlite ThinMil parachute.................$6

Asking price..........$60

Trang (scratch built) 54mm x 36”----
I have had so much fun flying this rocket (and building it). It's a 3 way cluster, motor eject, single deploy. The motors are slanted, and utilize Estes hooks for retention. There's an internal baffle to protect the chute/harness at ejection (but I still use a nomex blanket just in case). BlueTube airframe, aircraft ply fins, plastic nosecone. Can fly on 24mm BP or AP motors. Has seen a lot of flights and has definite scars to show for it. There are a few semi-crude repairs, but it's still a fun and solid flyer.
Can include a RockSim file, but it needs to be used with caution. RockSim can't deal slanted motors, and therefore any sims are estimates at best. Think of this file as "approximate". I've had great luck flying D12-5 motors (to about 500'), and E18-8s (to about 1800').

Included:

Nomex blanket, nylon webbing shock cord, ACME rail guides,

NOT INCLUDED (but "goes with this rocket" and can be bought as an option):
30" TopFlite parachute....................sold

Asking price..........$44

“Hidden Two Stage” prototype (scratch built) 2.3” x 40”----
This was a very cool prototype for an upscaled version that I never actually got around to building. It was very experimental…..and it worked!! Basically the rocket launches off a cluster of three 24mm motors (black powder or AP). Then the “first stage”, which is sort of hidden, ejects and recovers via a Kevlar streamer. The second stage fires (from the timer) and continues on another 24mm motor. Apogee is motor eject, single deploy. Heavy cardboard airframe, AC ply fins, plastic nosecone. The timer “av bay” resides in the nosecone. Build quality is somewhat crude, as this was “just a prototype”, but it gets the job done.
It’s a shame I never built the upscaled “real” version, as this is a way cool rocket.
The RockSim file is actually pretty good, and this flies 600 to 1000’ or so on C/D/E motors.

Included: This does include a PerfectFlite MiniTimer2, as well as special breakaway wiring, 3/8” aluminum launch lugs, . harness and blanket, a special Kevlar streamer

NOT INCLUDED
parachute

Asking price..........$38

ULAR prototype (scratch built) ----
This is a small LPR prototype of my rocket ULAR. I built this to test the concept before committing to the full size model. Basic LPR type construction, paper airframe, balsa cone, etc. Build quality is good, but nothing special (was just a test). Yes it worked, flies fine on 24mm black powder motors. No RockSim file.

Included:
Kevlar shock cord, Estes motor clip

NOT INCLUDED
parachute

Asking price..........$9

Unkl (a kit-bashed Wildman Sport) 54mm x 44”----
Made to be a fun but simple dual deploy “sport” rocket. 29mm motor, lightweight FWFG with polycarbonate nosecone. Very good build quality, and excellent condition……because this has not flown yet. It’s “almost” finished and basically just needs rail buttons and a shock cord. Unpainted.
No RockSim file made for this, but it should fly on G/H/I motors anywhere between 1500’ and 6000’ without problems. I imagine you could get a lot more altitude if you wanted to.

Included:
29mm AeroTech retainer body, rivets,
Full AV bay including: Landru 3D printed sled, rails, bulkheads, wiring, switch, charge wells, terminal blocks, hardware.

NOT INCLUDED (but "goes with this rocket" and can be bought as an option):
29mm AeroTech retainer cap............$6
Adept22 altimeter…………sold
LiPo battery…………………..sold
36" Spherachute.................sold

Ostrommaysorum (in progress scratch build ) 54mm x 51”----
This is a work in progress…….very close to done, but still needs work.
This was meant to be a VERY optimized minimum diameter rocket, with some pretty unique details. Firstly, the whole thing was built with using a LOKI 54/2800 motor in mind. It would be friction fit, with the front end acting as the airframe coupler, and the threaded forward closure as the harness anchor. But…………also included is a bolt-in coupler that you can use in case you are flying shorter motors. Second, the nose cone actually screws into the payload airframe, which also holds the AV bay sled in the nose cone. I did a lot of bench/ground testing to come up with something that I felt would work how I wanted it to. Then there is the AV sled itself, which holds a Featherweight Power Perch (for a Raven altimeter) on one side, and a holder for a BRB TX tracker on the other. There is only one break in the airframe (the payload stays with the nosecone), and I designed it to use a CableCutter (drogueless) for dual deployment duties.

Made with thinwall FWFG tubing, FWFG nosecone with composite tip, and G10 fins. Threaded sections are PVFC. Build quality is excellent….unflown so in perfect condition.

Built/done = fins on and fillets done, nose cone and AV bay completed, threaded sections completed, auxiliary airframe coupler done.
Still to do = install recovery gear, paint. I had planned on doing some carbon fiber tip to tip, but this is not necessary if you choose.

RockSim file is basic and not fully detailed or finished yet. Preliminary sims say 54 K/L motors will put this up to above 18,000’.

Included:
Custom built nose cone/payload/AV bay with Featherweight Power Perch.

NOT INCLUDED:
Parachutes, altimeter, CableCutter, recovery harness, tracker.

Asking price..........$80
SOLD!

38mm minimum diameter work in progress (in progress scratch build ) ----

This is a work in progress…….needs work.

Partially done minimum diameter rocket. I made the tubing using Soller Composites sleeves for a nice 38mm airframe….nicely done and good finish. The nose cone is a FWFG w/metal tip, and I glued in a short section of matched airframe (to allow enough room to put a GPS tracker with antenna in there). The fins are cut out, but still need to be profiled, and glued on/filleted. The main thing that makes this attractive is that it has an AP min. diam. retainer glued in, and this comes with all the (brand new) extension rods. Basically I’m selling it to cover the cost of that system (and at a discount at that). Nice project for someone to complete and fly.

There is a RockSim file available, but it’s just a “projected” one until more is completed on this rocket. I was shooting for 10,000’ to 12,000’ on 38mm J motors.

Included:
Custom airframe, FWFG nose cone with metal tip, fins (cut out), AeroPack 38mm minimum diameter motor retention system (not shown in the photo).

Asking price..........$60
SOLD!

Phew. That's it for the built rockets.
I'm taking a break (actually going back to work for the afternoon).
You can post general comments and stuff now.

But please send all specific questions, and "I'll take it!" messages to the email listed, NOT as PMs.
Priority will be given in order of emails received.

I'll start listing all the other goodies (hardware, avionics, chutes, parts, tracking, etc.) tonight hopefully, or later in the day tomorrow.

Until then,

Ok, round two (and the real craziness) is about to begin.

I'm now going to start by listing "everything else", in categories. There is a LOT to list, and this stage will again likely take me hours to get all posted. There will be a bit of everything. And lots of good deals to be had.

I'm going to ask again for folks to not post any comments/questions here on the forum until I get it all up and live. This way, everything for sale will be all clustered together and folks won't have to sift through pages of posts to find what they are looking for. I'll let you all know when it's all posted, and then feel free to post at will.

That said, when the thread does reopen for posts, please keep any queries general in nature. All specific requests should be directed to my email, and we will do all the deals there. That address again is sixtysixrockets "at" gmail "dot" com. Do not use PMs here on the forum for any correspondence on this sale.

I will NOT be able to respond to queries until I'm done posting everything......which may take many hours. As well, I'm actually at work some today through Monday, so again my response time may be delayed. You will be prioritized in order of emails received in that email box, and I'll do my best to respond as quickly as I can .

here goes..........................

Rocketman R12, orange/black, thinmil, very good condtion………………………asking $90 SOLD!

Custom Made “DZX” chutes: These I made myself, mostly following the Vatsaas Bros. patterns (which are very similar to Rocketman type chutes). They are semi hemispherical and are very high drag. They generally have 4 shroud lines, which are perlon cord and/or parachute cord on the largest. Each is a little different; some have extra stitching, some have edging, some use slightly different fabric, etc. My stitching isn’t super pretty, but these are very well made regardless. For the ones that say “THIN” I used a VERY thin/lightweight “calendared” ripstop fabric that packs very tiny; some of the smallest/lightest chutes you can find for a given drag. Great chutes!

68” THIN, purple/orange, very good conditions (w/one repair), includes swivel & quicklink…………………..asking $38 SOLD!
102”, maroon/orange, this one is special, more attention to detail, Kevlar thread, parachute cord shroud lines, very well made, in excellent condition…………………….asking $80 SOLD!

A also made a few of my own small drogue chutes, with more basic “flat/hex” design but still nicer than what you typically get in a basic chute, all in very good to excellent condition……………………….

Dr. Rocket "Expansion Closures". These are hard to find. They are closures that screw into 38mm casings, but with shoulders that fit 54mm motor mounts. Essentially adapts 38mm motors up to 54mm rockets. Very handy to have and in a lot of cases nicer to use than other adaptors. Both are in very good condition.

Aft in black...............................asking $28 SOLD!

NOVA II (made by QuickBurst) Relay Launch Controller----
Very nice quality launch controller, 100’ line, great condition. I’ve used this to launch everything from Estes LPR rockets to J/K motors, including clusters. Couple it with a 12V battery (or better yet one of those emergency 12V starter packs), and a tower/rail, and you’ve got everything you need to launch just about anything. See here for more/better info……https://www.quickburst.net/nova_2.htm.
This truly is a sweet system.

Asking price……………..$80
SOLD!

Aerotech Interloc Relay Launch Controller----
Waaaay nicer launch controller than them Estes thingies, and capable of much more than LPR. This is the perfect MPR controller. 40’ of line, hooks up to any 12V source (like your car battery). I’ve got it set up with standard alligator clips (rather than that dang copperhead thing). Good condition. See here for more/better info…………….

Asking price……………..$38

Homemade 12 way wire whip….
Ever find yourself wanting to launch a 12 motor cluster? I know I do. And this is what I use. Basic but gets the job done. You still need to twist all then wires onto the igniters, but works great. (and yes it will work on smaller clusters).

Asking $6

Launch Rails & Rods………………………………………….
(Note that these items may be tricky/pricey to ship!!!)

6’ 1010 rail, w/stop, blast deflector (note this is sturdy enough up to about H motors, beyond that it tends to get bent out of the way), used a lot but good shape……………………..asking $10 SOLD!

4’ Makerbeam rail, for mini rail buttons, brand new…………………………………asking $8 SOLD!

6’ ¼” rod, with stop, used but decent condition……………………………………..asking $6 SOLD!

Custom made tower system for 38mm minimum diameter rockets, breaks down into components for travel, super bomber and works great………………………asking $32 SOLD!

Custom made tower system for 24mm minimum diameter rockets, made to attach to a camera tripod (not included), great condition. Used only once (and I might have hit a record altitude for an F motor with it!)………………………………………………asking $20 SOLD!
