On top of organizing such a great sale, I've got to point out that Dave also managed to spend most of his Friday out on the range helping with the ESRA IREC launch madness. Way to go DAVE!!!! Don't disappear from reality but I totally can understand the clean break up from rocketry. Like a lizard, missing his tail, you'll be back. Look me up when you're ready to return for the count downs.

Time for an update.

So, I do have today off from work, and I will be pretty much working on this ALL day long. The goals for today are:
1. Pack everything that is sold/paid, and try to get it all in the mail. Big challenge in itself, and I'm not sure I'll actually finish. I'll do my best.
2. Notify everyone who made a purchase of their status. I hope to be able to send each of you an email confirming your purchase/payment, and detailing exactly what you have on the way. If you bought something and don't hear something from me "by the end of the day", shoot me an email and we'll get it sorted out. But please be patient and wait until later in the day.
3. Maybe reorganize a bit, and see what's still left standing on the battlefield.
4. Take a deep breath.

Thanks again for everyone's involvement in this so far, especially everyone who paid quickly, and for easy/concise communication.

I just sent out emails to everyone (??) who has bought/paid for items. If you thought you bought something, and especially if you sent funds, and you did NOT get an email confirmation from me in the last couple of hours saying so, then please email me and we'll get things worked out.

If you DID get that email, and it looks alright, there is no need to respond to it. That will mean one more thing I've got to check and process.

Update.
"Almost everything" bought/paid for has now shipped.

I've spent over $40 in packing tape alone! I also used a new mini-legal pad for keeping track of orders. Each person who ordered had a page to themselves and I have only one page left on the pad! I also noticed that this thread had over 8000 views. Yes, this has been crazy.

Not everyone has received a confirmed "has shipped" note, but for those of you who I told "it should ship Wednesday" it generally did.

There are a few stragglers for various reason, and these might mean "you" if you are still waiting on something. Those reasons include:
* A couple of orders have yet to be paid.
* On some I am waiting on final numbers/$$/decisions from some folks, before I can give a "yes/no" on availability to someone else.
* A couple of folks have asked me to delay their shipping for various reasons, but those orders are boxed/ready.

So far, it looks like only one case of selling an item twice. Apologies to the buyer who I had to refund!

I know there are a few of you that are waiting on a response from me along the lines of "I'll take X", or "Is X still available?". On pretty much all of these I'm waiting on payment from someone ahead of you, or something like that, before I can say yes or no. I WILL get to these requests asap, but it might be a couple days out.

And, as incredible as it may seem, there's still quite a lot left to be sold. Some good motor hardware, a decent selection of airframe/couple tubing, a few odds and ends, and quite a few built rockets (which I figured would be something of a "hard sell"). This ain't over yet.

Tomorrow is my "Monday" at my job. I'm almost looking forward to going back to work so that I can relax a bit.

As of this morning - Monday 6/27, 11:00am - all existing orders have shipped out, and all emails to this point have been responded to.
There is one order/sale pending.

So. The status of items on this thread (available/SOLD/Sale Pending) is pretty much accurate at this point, although there may be an odd item or two I didn't switch yet. For the most part, if something is still listed in black text, it's still up for grabs. It's pretty slim pickings yes, but there are some goodies left (54mm AT hardware, some CTI hardware, built rockets, FWFG and phenolic tubing, odds & ends).

I'll likely be listing some of these leftovers on E(vil)bay now that the good folk of TRF had first dibs. But I'll still take offers here for now.

For everyone who purchased built rockets that had RockSim files, I'll be sending you those files in the next couple of days, along with some tips and stuff on how went about rigging and flying them where applicable. You should see them by mid-week.

Received a well packed box of assorted rocketry treats yesterday. Thank you Dave for all of your hard work and communication throughout the sale. Seems kinda weird that now I need to go to the TRF good buyers/ sellers thread which Stealth started and talk about what a good transaction I had from a truly talented individual who are is now moving on.

With a number of the items I have gotten from the sale- it looks like I can turn my L3 project back on.
