My Secret Santa sent me a Saturn 1 SA-5 from Dr. Zooch. This will be my first Zooch kit, so I am looking forward to building it. Thank you, Secret Santa.

Just opened my SS gift and got a 38mm avionics bay for a Raven altimeter.

Thanks so much Secret Santa.:)

BUT!!!

I just opened the TRF SS Papa Elf Special to reveal the following goodies.:D

Starlight Rockets - F-32 Avenger
Starlight Rockets - Jayhawk

Fliskits - 13, 18, and 24mm Tres motor mounts.

Last but certainly not least, Pem Tech Screamin' Green Meanie. I've been eye balling this kit for quite some time now.;)

Thank you so much Starlight, Pem Tech and Fliskits. Jim, I need you to send me parts to build a mini and maxi Tres ASAP!!!:D:D:D

Woohoo just opened my SS gift and I got this really cool Sirius Interrogator.
Guess I now have been introduced into MPR flights. Time to find a new larger launch area. Thanks soo much to my secret santa.:jaw: I unfortunatly have a dead camera and can't find the charger so pics will be posted later.

Well

Santa has come and gone and the tree is a little bare right now. The Secret Santa left me a Pem Tech Screaming Green Meanie. It will replace the one that died horribly at Red Glare VIII on a 24mm Aerotech D something. For whatever reason the poor thing did not go high enough for the delay to burn through and deploy the parachute. You know, this thing has 3" upscale written all over it...

Other stuff that showed up...

A Madcow Cricket from my brother
An Altimeter One from my wife
A new Dremel Trio from my other brother

And best of all - the Quest Micromax starter set. Backyard rockets baby!

Oh yeah, dress shirts and a really cool geometric tie.

Thank you so much to my secret santa! I got a Mad Cow Mozzie! I'm a mosquito fanatic and absolutely love it!

Braden:santa-smile:

P.S. Was it Rocket Al?

Thank you SS!!! I got the kit I really wanted: The Kraken. I have to say these kit looks like a fun build, and the instructions are hilarious!!!

Marry Christmas to everyone!!

Thank you Secret Santa: i got a Pem-Tech Space Ark. This is a really cool looking kit, and with a 24mm motor mount, it looks like it will really scream on a D motor. The Instructions are a Riot.

Jeremy

My SS gift is an Art Applewhite Cinco w/38mm mount. :surprised:
It will be a great addition to my odd-roc fleet. Since there is a few inches of snow on the ground and I have nowhere to go, it's very likely that I'll get started on it today. :) Thanks, SS!

THANK YOU, SS!!! I opened up a PemTech Space Ark this morning. This is so incredibly unexpected and generous. For various reasons, this was the only wrapped gift I received this year, but this is by far the best gift I've gotten in several seasons.

Thanks to everyone here for all the holiday cheer I see running around. Being part of this exchange has made this one of the best holiday seasons in quite a few years.

Happy holidays to all!
- Ken

Thank you Secret Santa for the fliskits Bulls Eye kit and the Tres Mounts. I have always wanted the Bulls Eye and I told Jim Flis I really liked the looks of that rocket :).

Thank you to my SS.....I opened the box to find the Fliskits USS Grissom I have really been wanting to add to the fleet. Along with it came the Block-N-Tackle also. This is going to be a blast to build and fly!!! Thank you again and Merry Christmas to everyone!!!!:happydeer::happydeer:

Thank You

My secret Santa hit pay dirt with a Pemb Tech Screaming Green Meanie. This kit has been on my list the last three SS exchanges. What's even more awesome is that my boy wanted one as bad as I did. What he got wrapped individually were the parts for a 4" Screaming meanie upscale. I see a Meanie family in our future.

My wife and kids made me wait until after all the presents were opened before I cracked open a S.S. box from K and S Rockets. (like the last three weeks weren't long enough  )

The wait was worth it though, enclosed was a Grey Wolf kit!

Wow, I'm absolutely amazed at how inclusive this kit is. Sewn shock cords, Nomex chute and cord protectors, an av-bay kit + tons of hardware, a "real" decal etc etc. Just put it on the bench and build it, and that's what I'm gonna do. Way Cool!

Totally Awesome Secret Santa, Thanks You!

Thank you so much "Tom" aka El Cheapo. This guy set me up with a SR71 Kit. A letter was included that I took as a very nice compliment on my work and some encouragement to "step it up a notch" by also including a $20 Gift Cert to "Puplic Missiles Ltd" Some info on Motor Retainers,Hybrid Motors, and a PML catalog. Very nice gifts:cheers:

You are very welcome, Sir. That was definitely a compliment and can't wait to see how you mod out the SR-71. Hopefully you can fine some mid or high power parts through PML or be half way to what I think is one of their coolest rockets, the IO. Whatever you do, have fun with it. I had fun on my end.

Thank you SS!!! I got a Screamin' Green Meenie. I love E18's, and this rocket looks like it was made for E18's.

Jim, I need you to send me parts to build a mini and maxi Tres ASAP!!!:D:D:D

Donald,

No need to bother Jim. Just send those motor mounts over here right now. I know just what to do with them....
:D

Merry Christmas Don. Hope to see you on the field soon.

Still four days away from being able to open my Christmas presents. I'm visiting relatives out of state and won't be back home until the middle of next week.

Sorry Harold, no can do!!!:D

Merry Christmas to you too. I'm really hoping to get back out into the field soon. Now that the holidays are out of the way, that shouldn't be a problem.

I got started on the Cinco early today. After cutting everything out and preparing the upper & lower halves, tonight I glued everything together. Just needs a little paint then it will be ready. It's going to get a thorough shakedown with a new research propellant I whipped-up starting with a 2-grain 38mm load and increasing one grain each flight. I wonder if it'll take an 8-grain 'J'? :y:

Thanks again, SS!
