The Tri Cities Rocketeers will be holding our first launch of 2019 on Saturday April 6th. We will have a 10,000 foot waiver in place limited to L impulse open from 10am-5pm (or until flyers are done if before 5pm).

Scott Binder of Fusion Rockets/SBR will be onsite with motors (and I am guessing a few kits too) to sell.

Please keep an eye on our website and the mailing lists and our forum for launch updates. No news is good news, which means I will only make a cancellation announcement if poor or hot weather is expected. If the launch is cancelled, the announcement will be made at least 24 hours in advance.

If you plan to fly an any rocket that might approach the limit of our waiver, we would ask that you provide sim data that will show us that the rocket will not break the waiver.

We have implemented a liability waiver policy. All event attendees (flyers and spectators, including children) must now have a signed liability waiver on file.
You can download the waiver here: https://www.tricitiesrocketeers.org/tcr-liability-waiver-form.html

Please also note our enhanced safety policies as well. You can read them here: https://www.tricitiesrocketeers.org/tcr-enhanced-safety-measures.html

Dry camping is allowed at our site if you would like to come early. Here is an overhead view of our site with camping area marked: https://www.tricitiesrocketeers.org/birds-eye-view-of-the-range.html

You can visit the page on our website with our "address" to aid in locating our launch site here: https://www.tricitiesrocketeers.org/launch-site-directions.html

Sparky motors are allowed.

If you would like to become a TCR member, the annual cost is only $10.00 and is good for our "fiscal" year from April 1st through March 31st. All proceeds go towards maintaining and improving the equipment necessary to provide a better launch experience.
Hope to see you at the sod farm!

Reminder: 2019 club memberships are due $10 per person/family (this is the money we use to upgrade GSE and have the PortaPotty serviced)

Due to changing weather conditions tomorrows launch has to be scrubbed, we will go gor our alternate date next weekend April 13th (with the possibility of making it a two day launch).

Tri-Cities Rocketeers Club Members,

Sorry for the late notice, but the weather report for tomorrow has turned very bad this morning, so we've decided to rescheduled our April launch to next weekend.

The good news is we plan to extend the waiver through Sunday (4/14, and we plan to setup some limited GSE Friday afternoon, so FAR101 flying will be available Friday(4/12) later in the afternoon.

Dry camping is welcome Friday and Saturday nights. Our Porta-Potty was just serviced.

Hope to see you at the Sod Farm!

Just a bump here, last weekends launch has been rescheduled for this weekend Saturday and Sunday April 13th and 14th, with FAR 101 flying late Friday afternoon and evening.
