Scratch/kit bashing Saturn 1B

Started a new project today. Saturn 1B These are some of my parts. CSM/LES comes from a 2157 kit. I ordered from Estes, 1969 kit LEM adapter and vacumn parts. Got some appropriate body tubes S IVB is BT 80 and the others fit the 18 mm motors (sorry don't know the tube size) Used some templates from DrZooch Saturn 1B page. Extra balsa and some time.

Glued my central tube to the external tanks. BT-80 for the bottom ring and making the crown

Looks like a great project! Will follow to see how it turns out. How many motors so you plan to fly on?

Mostly plan on a single D or E but it is capable of 4 A10s and one D or E. I have another 1B that I launch on 4 C6s and one D Here is that rocket lifting off with 4 motors for a smaller field

Sorry I got excited while building and forgot to take extra pictures. Here is the finished model. I set this model up to fly on 4 A10 and one E motor. Looking forward to launching soon.
