I am looking at purchasing some plastic model kits (space genre) for displays around my "office" area. Can anyone recommend a vendor?

Squadron isn't too bad.

Also Model Expo

What specifically are you looking for?

This one has the Man in Space collection and a shuttle in 1/200th scale! Great for platic model conversion.

Your best bet is Ebay. The plastic models don't go for a lot...well...most of 'em don't.

As usual on Ebay, some stuff is INSANE!

Also, if you are willing to spend more, do more work, but have really beautiful models, check out New Ware and RealSpace Models. Both have resin kits in 1/144 and a few in larger scales.

John,

Depending on your needs, Rus-sel has the smaller collection of Russian ships for 24.99 for 4 kits. they are 1/288th scale - so not a ton of detail.

You certainly can't go wrong with any of the aforementioned companies. 8)

Okay...I'm gonna let the cat out of the bag...I'm looking for a decent plastic model that I can convert. Possibly design conversion kits...etc.

I thought so!

Micromister, TAKE IT!

You have lots.

P.S. you can leave the cat in the bag:D
