Roto Rocket Starscan flexwing glider

Hello, been awhile since I've been on the Forum.
Working on an old RotoRocket StarScan flexwing model.
Kit provides 3 plastic tubes for the wing spars.
Instructions say to place the plastic wing sheet with print side down,
place glue drops along the edges of the material and roll the material around the tubes .
Use tape to secure. I just rolled the material around the tubes and secured with tape alone.
Instructions then say to flip material over with printed side up,do the same"glue drops" along where the center spar lies.
Instruction drawing seems to show the center spar UNDER the plastic material.
This does not seem correct to me.
Anyone ever build one of these?
Any info would be appreciated.
