I wondered what some of you have done to spice up kits as far as finishing them. Iliked the Silver Comet that was painted black from another thread. Here is what I did to a Mean Machine. One of my boys likes tractors. ;)
 
Here is another view. The little green spots on the fins are JD logos made on inkjet decal paper.

It has always been my policy to never paint or finish a model like it is on the box or package, Unless of course it is a Scale model. Most models are at least two colors sometimes more:)

That paint job had to have taken three times longer than building the rocket. Looks good.
 
..Hey micro .it looks like the Eddy Van Halen Rocket....
 
I guess some old rock n roller might understand what I meant

better post a picture to explain the eddy van halen paint scheme
