Custom Doorknob

It started as a standard Doorknob build, but with some plywood upgrade parts from Rocketry Works, fins and center mount rings. Well, I also had some other tubes and couplers laying around and after seeing the profile, it wasn't staying stock from that point forward. I worked a design in OpenRocket, stiffened up the side walls with additional couplers and a custom baffle system and went to building it exactly as it was designed. I decided on a non traditional paint scheme in the sense that it is a metallic orange and pearl white snow, with black and silver strips painted onto the rocket to simulate a standard roll pattern paint scheme.

This gives me ideas.... I am seeing a single stage "2 stage" 7.5 LOC Doorknob as a level 3 project.

Its Kustom Canz paint, a base of medium silver metallic and then apply candy orange over it. Its good paint and it is very easy to work with and is a fast dry compared to other products.
