I own BadAzzRocketry, I'm a Born Again Rocketeer currently building my L3.
The Web site is in the works as are the kits.
My family and I own and run Advance Manufacturing Inc. in Spartanburg, Sc ( read: Production CNC shop!). We also Own and Operate Southern Motor Sports, It's a Custom Bike Shop.
I will be introducing several kits suitible for L1 and L2!
Two of the kits are for E-G Motor.
I also have an optional night assessory!
lipo, very bright multi color system

Some of the kit features are:

Single and Dual deploy option
Everthing you need to assemble except epoxy.
Built in 6061 Motor retension
Rail Buttons or machined Lugs
CNC machine fins
Moulded or CNC turned Nose cones
Kevlar and or shock cord
Standard duty Chute/Streamer

BEST OF ALL A REASONABLE PRICE!!!!!

When you say reasonable do you mean above or below a kit of the same size made by LOC percision?

Glad there is going to be a new vendor.
Good luck.:)

Eric,

Are you going to sell you rail button read backing attachments? How about the fin guides?

Chuck

I am looking forward to seeing them! My rocket budget has swelled fairly recently!

I meant what I said, I don't know what LOC gets for thier stuff:)

You can decide when you see a BaddAzz Kit! Loc kits are not BaddAzz!!:D

Chuck,

All rail buttons come with 6061 threaded lock plates!
All Tubes preslotted and bulkplates/ ctr rings are 6061 and tapped also.
My preslotting is also done on CNC's fin pretty much self align!
I only produce the fin guides for min. diameter birds.
I don't, as of yet have any min. diameter birds in the works.

You might want to have an alternative name or pronunciation. My parents probably wouldn't be thrilled if I told them I am buying a BaddAzz Rocket!

The Name Stands!
I gave my time in service for the right to say what I feel in the country I Love. Yes, some people may be offended. That is up to them and at no point will I EVER pander to the politically correct crowd.

Peace, Love and Happiness!

Ps. My Rockets are simply BaddAzz!!!!

I am looking forward to when your site goes live Eric! I helped Eric fly a couple of his proto-types at our last ICBM launch, and I will have to say they ARE BadAzz rockets!

A little hint of the design of the rockets: open frame fins!

I would have to agree. They definitely fit the name and will sell.

My Heartfelt Thanks for the well wishes and support everyone!

It means a great deal to me. This is a ton of work to get everything moving and I won't forget why I'm doing this.
I Love to fly Rockets!! I want to see this hobby grow.
The math and sciences involved should find an easy doorway into young minds! That said, I think top notch quality kits at a fair price are all but none existent. I hope to change some things for the good of all. I know a lot of folks have tried but they end up offerring up pretty much the same basic designs and ideas. I want to offer something for everyone.

I fly at Orangeburg, SC if you want a sneak peek, Come fly with us.
Beautiful grass farm, The most friendly people I've run into in a long time. You need help just ask! Hope to see you all soon!

I like when someone steps out with a little humor, a little style, and a "spit in the eye" toward all that *&%*%&^ political correctness. Definitely keep it!

(Only problem I had with it was that I assumed you would be based in Arizona, until I read further....)

Looking forward to see what kits you offer

Meeting with Tech specialist again tommorow. The deadline is NLT than July 4th. Planning a little something by June 12. It's my first go at an internet shop so the learning curve it what it is!

Any sneak peak photos of your planned kits?

I don't know about that BUT:

I can give you a first hand report on how they fly..... BADDA$$$!

I helped prep & fly the prototypes. [4 of them] I can't remember the names but I do remember talking Eric into sticking a H-250 green into one of the smaller kits.
Wished I had a picture of the look on his face as it disappeared into the sky at the speed of light. Over 4,000 ft., alas as it was motor deploy and drifted a fair distance to end up in a lake.

I found it the next day,[after a swim] & it gets my seal of approval for handling an extreme flight and getting waterlogged for over 24 hrs in 3ft of water. I didn't think the fins would stay on, but they came through with no ill effect from our abuse.

Drained it, dried it, and it's flown again no worse for the wear! Kinda a cross between an Astron Drifter & an Initiator...BUT with true airfoiled fins! Yes glass airfoiled fins, where have you ever seen THAT on any kit, let alone one that sells for way under 100 bucks. I don't think any of them are over that, not sure. Eric help here?

The fins are all very different designs from anything you have seen, some full, some skeletonized. Some with cutouts and beveled inside & out. But they all fly great & all come with positive motor retention . One [the 54mm airframe DD] even has his version of Aero-pac screw on cap machined into the all aluminum rear centering ring for motor retention & rail buttons.
All cr's are aircraft grade aluminum. You build it & fly it, everything is included but the glue and an altimeter, if you want one.
The tubes are slotted and when mounting the fins they self align. You would have to really work at it to screw up the alingment.
Fins are all through the wall & have tabs that go into slots and are glued and pinned in with wedges. Once those are in position the fins are properly aligned. It's pretty goof proof to build & I have proved they ain't coming off, even with my abuse.
Next time out I'll talk him into stuffing a F-240 V-max into the smallest one. HA HA!

They are extremely light for their class. These are definitely something new and refreshing for a change, like nothing you have seen or flown in their overall design & attention to detail.
All have fiberglass fins,[and they are tinted colors] even the smallest which fly on Estes and 24mm motors! We had read only altimeters in some of them but he will have to report the heights, I don't remember which flew how high. Oh, and none have motor tubes,or need them, now that's different.

Tube finned, double finned, [6 fins] dual -deploy, & D-finned.... guess you have to wait till he posts some pictures and prices. Honestly I don't know or I would let it slip out.

I predict they are all winners! When word gets out after some of you get your hands on them they will sell like hotcakes. I've prepped 'em, flown 'em & think they are just too much fun.

How 'bout showing a couple of the fin designs at least Eric! Now that I peeked everyone's interest.

Lighten up fella, you're among family here; the kid was just kidding.
Even if he wasn't though, "the right to say what you feel" is not reserved just for those unselfish enough to serve but for all born under our flag even if you're "offended" by his opinion.

Taking the camera to the Rocket shop. I'm not cleaning up the shop or me for pictures though! The shop is a mess!!!!!
The small Rockets are going 1800 to 2100 feet on F21, Those also have a nice motor retention set up incorperated in the included boat tail.

Jim, The last flight of the Starfire I flew on a G106 sparky, It was awesome!!!! Remember we used my 29 to 24 adapter set.
That was it's first dry flight since it found the pond!! Seems once they find water they look for it, last 2 launches it tried to get in the ditches.

The 38mm birds have the same hardware, and the 38/29 adapters are available.

Was hoping to hold off on photos till I could round up my models (Church Babes) but I'll go ahead with some shots.
The web page is gonna take a while to get it the way I want it.

F240 Huh, I don't know Man...That's a lot of motor.

Get a Grip Bro, I didn't drop the hammer on him. I made a public statement about how I feel. I wasn't offended, just putting to bed the idea that I would change the name of my company to suit the easily offended.

Peace, Love and Happiness!

Amen.

I look forward to seeing what you've got. The way CJ posts, I will be very impressed.

Good luck with the business and thank you for your service to our country.

Sandy.

I"d like to see a picture of the "BadAzz Rocketry" decals you'll eventually be selling.

There's an empty spot on my range box that could use a decal. Right next to the "Go Fast Sports" decal. :D
