More with the Nosecone, I have a better idea of how I want this done. I still to wait to add weight, so once the tail section is done and everything is loaded all see where my CG is, then check the CP on OpenRocket. Ill set the CG then so you can add or take away nosecone weight to keep the CP in a desirable position, or not and just set it all at one weight with a perfect CG/CP then fly it without failure but prepared for the worst.

I needed to get some of these ideas out of my head and "on paper" so to speak so I can keep track as well. So here's just some pictures of what I'm going to make out if the nosecone. No it won't, but could for night fights have a very bright nosecone and or body tube...But, those pictures are to show bulkhead placement. I'm going out the garage and up to the shop to get more 3/8" or longer length wise all thread, and hardware. Plus wood, but first foam board pieces to get exact or close sizes for inside the NC. I need to make a fun jig too from foam board. More updates soon after I sand the inside of that NC.

Well its been a busy day and I need some rest, so while I'm laying down I'm going to take the Glassine layer off the 54mm motor tube LOC Precision sells that I'm going to use with Aeropack retainers starting at a main 75mm available mount, or 54mm, 38mm, and possibly 29mm. I have to check the final weight with everything in it, that will be soon.

I have the habit with builds of getting to points of gluing or epoxy and just waiting. While going back and forth, lol. Thats where I'm at now, or really close but its all good its progress. So ill update soon later on, but now I'll take this layer off and work on the motor mount adapter. It will accept various motors, and start the body tube work. Ill post more later on.

I said it would be in detail, to share and help educate. But here's the 54mm LOC supplied tube with a 54mm Aeropack retainer and the 75mm-54mm LOC adapter they sell I bought with the kit. I took the layer off and I'll add the centering rings with glue, then JB Weld the retainer on. After the 75mm flange is on and in place. Ill up all part randomly, but daily.

Since I'm pretty much disabled, I have time to do detailed builds it give me something to do, look forward too. I don't mind in the name of education at all to share, so that's what this is all about. Me, having fun safely.
Tonight I'm a little tired so I'm doing thjngsbI can sit to do. One was getting this motor tube ready. I've peeled off the glassine layer and exposed the tube. Ill glue the forward ring in, after the aft ring gets holes drilled in it, and washers/bolts added which I'm doing now. I had so many ideas in my head I needed to start physically doing them. They are working out well. My spent L1 certification motor fits in the 75mm tube, that will have a interchangable 75mm Aeropack Flange, the 29mm is iffy I really designed it for 38mm but I'm short on those spent casings.

I'll post daily updates, this is gonna be a fun build that should fly and eventually take M motor hits. That's the overkill but its not done yet. A second or so M motor quick burn its gonna be rough, im designing it for Mach and probably eventually hitting 8000/10,000 feet regularly. Then I'll add a little better tracker than the Marco Lolo but may not need it. Granted a baby M is gonna be 6,000 feet above me. But ill watch it many times first before it goes out of site. But one step at a time, more later but part 2. Ill explain the 1010 rail buttons too. Part 2 below.

Now that its coming together, I can look at many motor options. Literally every J, K, or even in the L range. Plus eventually/maybe low 75mm M's, or the other way with a
high 29mm "I" if built stock at 9lbs LOC says, but that probably pushing the very minimum 3:1 TWW.

Its really made for 38mm minimum then uo to as much as it can take, with full redundancy for all DD flights and backups for those flights plus the chute release for SD flights like the cert flight will be so I can watch it, ans adjust or not. More progress to come another mail call is here right now. More Av Bay/Motke tube updates later on, along with the nosecone I had that idea solved but need the aft fly ready weight. Dog barf too.

I have the nosecone idea pinned down, I'll need to cut or drill out bulkheads. Also cut down the all thread ill need the weight. But this is the direction that's going. Still Av Bay and motor retention still going on with updates daily, with a tail section and I'll add 1515 rail buttons too. Its not near done, but eillbbe soon with the motor retainer 54mm tube.

Pot life is 20 mins at 75*, its getting there. No, im only checking one container not two, and its not used for food, the probe. So, safe way to tell if your ready to epoxy...2morrow.

Found hardware but ill need to walk to Coles and spend $10 more tops for Stainless hardware 2morrow at some point between appts. Night all, busy day 2morrow starting early. I'm exhausted.

It will be a busy but manageable day, appts in the morning then I'll walk to Coles hardware(it's like a half mile), to get some stainless steel hardware for the 54mm tube/Aeropack retainers(Probably $5 USD). Ill be busy, but I'll be working on and making the sled, gluing/epoxying the Av Bay, more nosecone work, and with glue/epoxy in other places the Totalboat is at 73*...So, updates soon...

Nothing is permanent, this honestly came out of the box a week ago, so I'm still working on ideas but they all seem to fit. So I'll keep moving forward, pictures/text in detail later on. So yeah, the drouge is on the forward/main side.

Its been a busy day since 6am, but about ready to start on this, like I said I'm really disabled and this is my outlet or vent.

So, I'm gonna go back to the PVC pipe stand I'm making for my range box, soon walk over to Coles for some Stainless Steel hardware so this motor Adapter/Retainer works, it will I'm taking my time with. But now here's the pipe and fittings ill use to make a work stand for this I can use here. Ill share the build in detail as well, I'll need one at URRG on launch day so I'm using my range stuff in the room to build this.

I won't be lost then on launch days if I'm distracted by medical problems or bigger cooler rockets, lol.. Which I'm usually fine for but like to prepare. But sometimes medical emergencies sneak up and I'm useless for a bit. I'm working past that and it starts with this and a walk to Coles Hardware after some food/water. As normal updates will come randomly as progress is made. Thanks for having patience its taking me a little bit to figure out what this one likes, or doesn't so to speak.

Be back soon...

Again its been a busy day, even spent about an hour at Coles getting what I needed in Stainless hardware. I spotted this DashCam/camera the other day, I got it for around $9.xx plus tax, in USD basically after a new membership discount. It should work well but ill test it before I mount it in the Av Bay or NC. I'm gonna take care of a few more things then get started with the PVC stand, then this L2. I know its not required to share or "document" this, but its like my other posts in detail to share. Thanks for reading, lol.

It was another busy day, with life going on. But, I'm going to start early 2morrow nothing is planned. I'll get it all organized again, and start making some sense with all of this, its for my education and the spread of knowledge for this great hobby. I mean it, its very dear to me.

Soma good nights sleep, 2morrow will start with a new workstand and the build. Apologies, life for me is very unreasonable on a daily basis. But, I've adapted to that as well, this is a personal test to see if I can build safe rockets again. It looks to be true, but this $10 DashCam is very, very cool. More on that for this budget L2 certification build with many options after.

2morrow, I plan to work all day on this. No appts until Friday. Night all, the build will make sense soon. Please bare with me, its a struggle daily to get up. I messed around with small stuff again..

Thanks all,

Michael B.

Thanks for all the pictures Keep them coming. :bravo:
10-4, I really did have a mental health issue. That was an extreme panic/anxiety attack, and I'm not going to lie I'm just naturally very observant, I read instructions/directions thrrsba difference in them, but honestly do struggle even daily to physically even get out of bed. But I can do it!

So apologies for the longer rants its was me venting thru facts/knowledge im ALWAYS (😆 🤣 🚀 )under estimated but its fine im not doing this for anyone but me its so therapeutic to work when I'm getting stressed from severe chronic pain, depression, PTSD m, etc....

It was alot, but really* thank you so much. I'll keep them coming I've been taking about 200 photos a day with this phone, no lie I do this for any build, rockets or not. Plus I like these for my personal reference for when I do repairs, later that always happens. Always. Always either motor or recovery related is what really ruins these wild things, but that unpredictability is its strength to me, I'm prepared for the absolute worst. Ill have built in abilities though to save this rocket especially the electrnics bay,, I'll get build/a good fire suppression system i control by hand, but these two altimeters built right can be amazing, I'll prove or show that too. My physical abilities to the worse case scenario, I mean ugly CATOs too I'm very prepared for, or just a "stupid low and slow", L2 certification flihhts testing many things with one flight to tell me a lot. Ill move forward regardless. Butnill back off if it's not working but I'm not rushing/forcing this. It will work out, it always dies some things take longer..

To maybe a sweet nice flight then many more full DD flights to come up to 17,000 ASL max. Ill have many more posts, this is one of my goals on life to at least make the HP attempts up to L3's in NAR ans TRA I love them both. While as always building it so the CG/CP are exactly where I want it. Or I'll add base drag to keep it around the fins. Ill add more pictures 2morrow Ill be applying for full time disability now, again. But its all very good I need it to the point drs are begging me to go on it really.

So now it's my job to build these, but I love them in every way design, to building, paint prep, paint itself, flights, OR, other sims, recovery especially its soooo important to me even more so, to many failures but better successes. Ill keep posting in order but its glue and wait, so I'm get some sleep im exhausted. Later today, thanks!

Michael B. I'll fix grammar/spelling errors if there are any later on today. them

Night all.

My only anxiety attack that put me in the hospital was cost from a GD pill 🤬 :barf:

Todays all about rest/relaxation...So, ill start with the PVC stand ill need, that's first here in a minute. Then ill add updates in
In detail to explain. My thoughts/thinking, bt need some more hard, but needn't juts drill and build. This project "Overkill", is going to be worth it.

So, some physicians therapy then hopefully a therapeutic day of design, testing, ans building. I just messed around yesterday, but to experiment with new "ideas",
But this PVC stand, first and some new but proven ideas including a "Parachute Can", I may sell. But ill pass it forward first, thats the point this one flight. It will confirm many things, I've read and comprehended enough to know stable from not. I promise, the nest lost will be this work stand, then I have all day to build. I honestly got this out of the box, so I'm putting all these ideas down. Apologies for the motor tube/centering rings, upon a perfect delivery. I was accidentally sent the wrong sized centering rings. For 1/4" fins not 3/8" that comes in the kit.

Some of ny intentions to earn my L2, then hopefully L3. This is a budget, real life build. It could be very versatile, I'll prove that or not. If I'd bet, I would put my money on a successful flight and quick repair to fly it again. But im gonna start taking the written exam too to study, I personally need to know these rules and do know a few. Butnitd new to me, so after a coffee and wake up routine the madness will all make very sane sense, lol. 😆 😃 🚀...

For educational purposes only, learn/enjoy on my dime. This can all be done with TWO of these rockets, to possibly fly L1, ill keep it light but also it will be about 13/14 lbs ready to fly W/O motor. So I'm checking out any 38mm J, baby to mid my options are literally unlimited in 38mm, 54mm, and only but an appropriate 75mm motor. It had a few Aeropoack retainers, and a few cool other things you can make on your own. Ill post in detail how the build is progressing.

Thank you for your patience, many have asked me to do a build. It will be very detailed down to a final parts list with prices from many stores and online facilities. My offical "L2 Certification build", finally begins today in order with all my thoughts, thinking, and ny personal knowledge will be tested. I love it, but the PVC work stand for here/launch days to assist me. Updates shortly, I take about 200 pics a day, ill narrow them down then add text/inof here to keep my phone clean. Its all rocketry, LOL.

Today,

(As always ill come back and fix spelling/grammar this phone has a mind of its own)...Its about all what I'm I using too( My older but still working great, Samsung Galaxy S9+ takes these pics/videos even on ny new YouTube channel just for rocketry, you can. See testing there too. Proving the point too, this is Android is a great tool for rocketry its paid for itself too, including Thrustcurve.org and its scientific calculator. Plus many random things you can very well use. Ill have my thoughts/build visons explained throughout this build.

Same, almost killed me again 2 weeks ago, no lie its why I stopped using all Pharmaceuticals, my mother worked for Geisinger here since 1980, my grandfather Bozung was a Mechanical Engineer for Merck& Co, in Riverside Pa. 2 miles from Geisinger its why they "relocated" in 1972 from Rahlway(?) NJ to Bloomsburg. PA in 1972. I've been working at in "therapy" since I was 5, lol. So I have 36 years of life to share one being this great hobby, Im gonna stop talking and work a bit. This stuff is sharp. Looks like I need band aids, but its all positive progress starting with the dang work stand I really do need. Thats now, but yeah I can agree with you, and maybe my L1 is telling me something...

Time to really work, updates TODAY.

Apologies for the motor tube/centering rings, upon a perfect delivery. I was accidentally sent the wrong sized centering rings. For 1/4" fins not 3/8" that comes in the kit so I use a marker, its just scribbled out.

These are some of my intentions to earn my L2, then hopefully L3 but I know this doesn't have to be documented. This is a budget, real life build. It could be very versatile, I'll prove that or not. For educational purposes only, learn/enjoy on my dime. (As always ill come back and fix spelling/grammar this phone has a mind of its own and I really am very active but have daily issues.

Okay. Today was super busy again for me. I'm had about 2hours where I did some work, I'll add text it takes forever.

But in short, built the PVC stand first, then just put it together to check the CG/CP. Its alot of photos but they will speak for themselves and ill add text too probably 2morrow morning im getting tired so daily I want these 100 and some photos off. Its to pass on what I've learned to help anyone who needs some answers, or not this is for me. I just need a minute to add specific text, in the AM. Part 2, maybe 3 coming up...

Michael B.

Edited or text 2/2/24:

Yesterday was busy, but its 05:52 AM so I have some time to type a little about what direction is like this to go. I'm intentionally building it to accept failure, but light enough total weight wise which I'll have soon. I'm not unemployed, but stay as active as possible but some says I cannot get out of bed physically. Other days I can jump out of bed, but the days are very busy from 5am to midnight usually. Then 5 hours to sleep/decompress.

So, I'll add text to these posts very shortly after posting. The first goal has been gather all the parts and supplies I need. For one to get a fly weight and check or confirm the CG so I can set the CG. This build is new, but model rocketry is not.

Yesterday I had about 2 hours total all day to get some work done. I'm working on a few things but its going well. I was able to make a "quick" stand for here or launch days that will bolt to a lid top.

That was yesterday's, well this past weeks goal it made work very easy. There a reason I've been building low and mid power in detail with a mix of kevlar shock cords, cutting fin tabs, making one piece balsa or plywood fins, and more.

After getting that done last night, I messed around then with the Av Bay as that needs glue and epoxy all over. The "DashCam" I'm planning to use, but need a USB capabile power source. I did have a "Mophie" powe pack I loaned to someone just recently but may buy a new one they are cheap but like them. So that's not a necessity, I may take it back, get the $20 some back and just buy a good 808 or higher 1080 key chain fob camera. I've always done in depth bugey builds for many things from cars to houses.

I really have been unemployed/disabled since a injury in 2012 that ended ny career. Well its 2024, its still fresh in ny head and it was 12 years ago. So, this build is therapeutic. When I get stressed or angry I harness that energy and use it physically or keep it as fuel mentally. I'm share everything for this build but a few things I may sell myself eventually to help fund my personal goals but any profit now will to the forum so zi can finally be a paid supporter, thr sane with many YouTube channels as they do this for free, or to help.

Thats where im at, I've had a lot of down down but can be very efficient in problem solving and finding out what works and what doesn't. Ill help anyone once, but then I'll decide to help you or not again. But thats not me, lol. I want to share ans help educate, like this forum and channels like "RocketVlogs", with Braden I've already kind of talked to him thru YouTube that he has plans for LDRS @ URRG which I'm going to be able to volunteer ALL 4 days now, but have a car/van/or some type of camper to travel around the country and juts fly. I'm 41 and basically retired wirh no income or pension.

But im working to change that, so a detailed post with text after to explain it all is my wishes. I'm not dumb with this hobby(Yeah people have said that to me, I don't take kindly to it. But can understand many L3s concerns about this build. Ill prove im a good builder or not. But daily, step by step. Ill ads more text in the one of 4 picture dumps from yesterday and when im not running around like a nutbar I can explain my thoughts and thinking along with what I'm doing. So, below.

Thank you for being patient,

Michael B.

Part 2, pics in order. Text later..

Michael B.

**Edited for text 2/2/24 at 06:17. After attempting all day to get this stand made, I went out to the shop to cut this pipe. I made 2 longer pieces, with two 3/4"/.750" schedule 40 PVC pipe at Lowes and Home Depot, as well as Coles hardware locally. Then most of the recovery gear is sourced from there, or Amazon, Wal-Mart, Hobby Lobby, and Harbor Freight(They do have good tools you have to choose them, they also have junk. So I'm careful about buys.

The stand was to fit in on one of my yellow range boxes and "giant" one with wheels. Ill be making a transporting "stand for this too. But I can use some nylon rope and tie it tight as is. But I have time and that isn't necessary. I have a rack I can set 3 rockets on safely for the drive, if thats one hour to my low power club in Pennsylvania, near Lancaster. They have some great sites to launch @ SPAAR here which the Halifax, PA launch site could definitely be high power but its not. But they are very organized and saftey oriented. THATS MY NUMBER ONE PRIORITY..

After joining them, after the NAR but I swear I signed up for the NAR in 1990 but I think my father hadn't sent it in. I was taught in an advanced rocketry class I chose at 7 years old because beginner course while fun were boring to me as most information I have comprehend. I can still remember sitting there with high school seniors, at 7 building model rockets thats no lie.

These pictures probably speak for themselves but of not a quick run down. I didn't lose any extremities or fingers/limbs as I've done this before. But a laser cutter and 3D printer will arrive this year. I'm moving to my old house/shop I really built for me to be productive. It has a new workshed that I'm gonna build rockets on again for my own personal pleasure. But im tempo in a one room apartment that's my choice. I've lived in worse conditions so this is fine to me. Its just getting cramped so a good clean/daily organization is my habit. Make a mess, clean it up.

Below im cutting pvc pipe with a table saw, the sizes I need but I can post all measurements ans will later on. I promise but today I have appts early so I won't get much done until noon or so but I'm dealing with life as well, as you a do so its just taking extra "time".

I finally made the stand with pipe insulation to keep paint nice. I hate clear coat and usually spray bomb them to perfection. Or not the paint will burn off
This nosexone and one point so I may use Mutlitronix/KATE in the NC I want to hear it. I'm confident, but not cocky or ignorant. But life has put me in place whe. I've acted confident, its my response to trauma or stress to harness that energy and do something positive or constructive. Its how I was taught from a young age, to keep moving and not talk.

Thats OK, but I'd like to share this to help anyone build a rocket to fl, while having fun. So, again im explaining my thinking as some confuse it with being "crazy", its no lie. After the stand was made, in about 20 mins. I started to assemble it to check the CG and keep the CP over those fins for a low and slow baby to mid J, RMS or DMS. Id honestly feel better building my own cases and setting up grains to give me the thrust curve I want. Its gonna need a good initial thrust then I want a full 3 to 4 second burn, coast to Apogee around 1000 to 1500, 2000 feet tops. I don't need too but watch to watch about $1,000 go up. Its 100% going to happen this way or not. If I don't like a flock of birds close this isn't going up. Ill wait.

So this is getting the PVC workstand done, Im also using only the tools ill have with me and table I use for only launch days. I've gotten very good with repairs, so that's the plan to make it fly ready again if need be. But I have a feeling this will fly one way or the other and be successful with any and all even unexpected flights. I've watch Aerotech G-Forces go up on G80-10's and G80-13's to even land right in the guys trunk. I have that one video I was trying so hard not laugh. He got closet to the car, his rocket went to 1000 feet, then went into his car trunk that was open, lol......

While thats cool, this won't quite fit. So the cert flight will be a motor ejection, with a backup, then the chute release set at 400/500. But only about 45-50 feet of 2 shock cords, primarily duel then single lines. I'm build that too, it will all work I just need to confirm and am before I speak.

More text in part 3,

Michael B.

Part 3 pics from today...

This was more of making the PVC "work stand". After I post these daily ill come back and add text. I have a few pics to dump or load here daily(usually 100 to 200). This below is the stand being finished finally. To be bolted to any of my range boxes, also my entire L2 can fit in the blue range box I have with wheels. As last year, the goals are to build/test in the room im in, down the stairs almost vertically anyways, to the car, to the field. I've honestly tested most of these ideas or have built them before. So here we go again, but step by step this time.

So not losing any fingers, but having som some minor cuts from a stopped sharp table saw blade(ugh, lol!!)I still made out great. I felt SO relieved to get this kit together and make sure its complete. It really came out of the box for the build last Wednesdaythe 25th, but after spending a year doing more research on high power rockets. I feel I'm ready to build safe flyers, High Power rockets again. After that, i can in and I sanded down the aft side of the coupler for this Av Bay for this 5.5" Magnum 3E custom kit has been perfect, this LOC Precision kit really is nice. I mean it, it's nice The pictures pretty much show it all, any questions please ask away thats the point of this. To get these ideas out of my head, and "on paper". So to speak.

More text from yesterday in part 4 then today can start. Ill slow down and cover everything. But I bounce back and forth or I need to multitask during most days as its easier for me to do a little, almost constantly daily. But I can finally relax a little, and get back to using my brain and hands as a form of therapy to me. Iladtes daily, with text asap. Thank you all, this may help someone one day.

Thats my true wishes,

Michael B.

Part 4, from. Today ill add much text, later 2morrow as said. Night all.

Edited 2/2/24 @ 07:09: this was me messing around check some things or getting practice. I understand folded the chute and fold it differently to deploy right away or not, granted to will have 75 feet of shock cords few reasons. This way, when it landed in a tree or disappears in brush I know what do to. Really the 78" main will open on the cert flight after Apogee and the almost guaranteed Drouge event after it arcs over or hits Apogee.

I'll have one backup to the motor ejection not 2 for the cert flight. It will be head end single deployment. I could do head end and rear ejection to really set it dine soft but one 78" Main with no spill hold will be set for full main deployment about 400/500 feet. During the cert flight it just going to land, one way to another or mayne not but I'm prepared after watching many successful flights and equally more failures unfortunately have learn a little more this year about rocketry in general.

So I'm still planning this out in my head and adjusting or fix the bugs. Its going well, but nothing is permanent yet I'm thinking about the kit, these ideas are all in my head plus real life experience testing many things out to fins out what works and what doesn't. Plus some funny failures that didn't hurt anything. These model rockets are very unpredictable, just like a Top Fuel NHRA Dragster(I've been in one, its wild I'll say that much, but im not certified to run 4's...lol. So I do like rockets and that them with respect they can be dangerous. But im dead serious if you like G force hits maybe racing is for you too. Cars, boats, bikes, RC cars, Model Rockets, etc.

Todays goals are not anything until my appts but a nice warm shower and coffee today I've got a slight headache I want some Caffeine. Then today I'll be doing little things off and on until this afternoon. But I'll be back this afternoon to continue work, updates as always later on or sooner..

I had appointments today or one most of the morning but worked on cutting that cardboard tube that was available to me for use. Its al little over 3" for the inside diameter so I drilled two, three inch bulkheads to put on each end. But I'll cut it in half length wise then figure it out from there. Im going to be using the JL chute release to hold it and the parachute with some of the recovery hardware like quick links and a swivel.

But all in a "can" but basically a 10.5" long airframe with just permanent bulkheads. It should fly, or be pulled out with a chute attached to it already so it lands softly.
ill test it first to see how it works bu will fly off and separate from the main or any rocket harness and it will land somewhere.

I cut that horribly, lol. Then came back into the house from the shop and used some Titebond Quick and Thick for fillets. Butglued on of two, three inch bulkheads in. I glued the other end just now, after I cut it in half I'll after it dries. Um, after that I took the two black 25 foot long shock cords and measured them, they pretty much just did that.

I'm just checking or confirming yet but two black shock cords will run to the one quicklink, the main chute line and two quicklinks from that in a "dual" fashion linked together really. I'll post more about that when I get to the recovery harnesses. There's a few new shock cords that I'm going to need to make for this, its all good then I will post them. Thats about it, ill be doing more tomorrow. I took again them in detail doing each step. So today its gonna be mostly picture of ne doing this all day but here's and there. As I'm still in the "design" mode, today's just mostly pictures which there are not usually this much but it shows you how I like to build.

Here's part one of today, more to come.

That last pictures are the "Parachute Can" coming to life, and well as the ejection baffle double plated disc I made and trimmed off the excess. Then I had an idea to use that 3" tube as part of the ejection baffle to vent gases properly to eject the nosecone which will habe sheer pins in it. I messed with the chute release too above, thats the key part to this "can", so...

Below the the one main shock cords supplied with the kit that are just over 25 feet each. I'm using those cords to each side or opposites for "U-Bolts" also supplied in the LOC Magnum 3E kit. So that will be two line in a sort of triangulation type setup as they came but to one quicklink. I'm still busy so that will be covered soon. Here's more from today setting up the lower shock cord in the hallway using the other room. It's perfect, I'll explain how it gonna work. I'm intentionally trying to find snags and a door was one, lol.

More text/pics later this Groundhogs day or 2morrow if it gets here! 😆 🤣 🚀.

Well, for today. 2/2/24, here's thrust 4 recent pictures of the Main or forward side of the Av Bay and ejection baffle with a tube. It will be blocked, and also used to store the shock cord in so it doesn't get burned as easy. Thate the idea anyways, I have much more to do to this, so for right now here's what zive done so far today. The 3" tube on the 2 plates will be much longer and the center will be wide open to vent the ejection charge properly to ensure the NC comes out. It need a tihht seal but ventilation holes for the altimeters.

Again, its not done but ill add daily.

This 3" tube(for the chute release and ny own made ejection baffle/shokx cord holder), might have some good promise for it being nothing but a removable ejection baffle, and tube that falls apart intentionally. But it also holds holds a perfectly folded shock cord so the NC ejects and pull the cord out probably with masking take in several spots so it doesn't tangle but pulls out in kind if in sections, I'll post later, busy with life....lol..
