The #hotnozzlesummer folks put together a great intro guide to the hobby. It sounds like they had a great even this summer that got quite a few people into high power. Hopefully that trend continues with this guide.

(I had nothing to do with this - I just saw it on Twitter & read through it. I think it's great that more people are interested in high power rocketry.)
 
For a free single-piece document, that's a pretty decent overview. Speaking as a mid-power scratchbuilder, I'm not sure it could take someone without rocket experience to the point of designing and building an L1 rocket without assistance, but it could be a useful document for an experienced rocketeer to bring friends joining the hobby to speed. The links help flesh it out. I'm surprised not to see any reference to TRF though. There is nothing as valuable as learning from others' experience.
