After seeing the Estes rail I was inspired to make one of my own. Found a nice speaker stand on Amazon and a 80/20, 1010, 6’ rail here - https://www.globalindustrial.com/p/101072-1-x-1-tslotted-profile-72-stock-bar. The stand is fully adjustable, up, down, base size etc. The rail fit perfectly in the tube which couldn’t have been easier and I just had to drill a couple holes in the rail for blast shield and mounting point. Otherwise very simple to build. Undo a thumb screw and wing nut to assemble and disassemble, fold up tripod and done. I add weights to the bottom brackets for extra stability. Total price was under $75.

Pretty narrow base. I would highly recommend finding a way to use some sort of tent stake or equivalent to cross brace the feet at the bottom on all 3 feet
