Hey guys,
I am looking for the best drill bit and method to cleanly drill through glazed porcelain. I have some thoughts, but wanted to tap the experience available on the forum. Thanks!
Edit: didn't mention size, 3/4" to 1"

My son is a plumber and buys diamond hole saws off Amazon for that purpose. Get a water bottle and provide a steady stream right on the surface where the cutter is engaged or you'll ruin the bit and the piece.

The brand he gets is called SHDIATOOL

Diamond bit pilot hole followed by carbide / diamond hole saw with center pilot in the hole you already made. If practical immerse the piece in water. Make sure it is well supported so won't crack from pressure. Don't use cutting oil on porcelain, as it will soak in and stain.
