Don't be shy, i'll be there with a tow strapLooks like Saturday is a go, although mud boots might be in order. It will be a game day decision for us.
Moore!Yikes! If it's that muddy I'll be parking by the gate and hoofing it in like the locals. See what I did there?

How'd the launch go yesterday? Weather was nice although my allergies disagree.
Hopefully that was my last "splash down" recovery. The Phoenix is still flyable. Lost one of the altimeters to water damage and the ebay is permanently attached (stuck) to the payload tube, other than that no real damage.Poker, you and that pond seem to have a thing. Good to hear most everything survived. What was the final word on your Phoenix from last years splash?
I went back out to Gunter today hoping it was still afloat and with a well placed 300' cast using a #8 treble hook recovered it mostly unharmed.
When I purchased these rockets I told Al Yunkers daughter that I would put them back up in the air. Thought you might enjoy.

Anyone been to the Indy race at Texas Motor Speedway the last few years? It's been probably 20 years for me but at that time season ticket holders would hole up near the entry and scalp their own tickets for a pretty hefty discount off face value. I surmise that things have changed a little since then though . So my question, any recommendations on buying tickets? Should we just got the safe route and buy them on Ticket Master? I think they're pretty easy to come by elsewhere but buying counterfeits would be my concern. Thanks in advance!
The boys and I went last year. We just bought normally, but there were a lot of extra seats. I wasn't looking, but I suspect there were plenty of tickets available on site.
Thanks Chris. Where did you sit. Any recommendations?
