As last year's launches went so well, CMASS will be holding its next launch as we continue to work our way through the current pandemic. We will fly from the Acton School Street field on 22 May from 10 to 4 as long as the weather holds out. As usual, Acton is a small field so we are limited to low- and mid-power rockets. Be careful pairing your motors and rockets to be sure you recover on the field especially as the wind is predicted to change direction through the day. There will not be any food service at this launch but we hope to bring back our lunch service in June. Bring plenty of water to stay hydrated as the temperature will be summer-hot. There won't be a motor vendor at this launch.

To comply with the current rules in the State of Massachusetts, we have put together a set of guidelines including a sheet for tracing information. Please follow this link, read the entire guide, fill out and print the form to bring along to the field. If you do not submit a form, you will not be allowed to fly.

We know there will be people attending who have and haven't received the COVID-19 vaccinations. We will continue to practice social distancing and ask everyone to still wear a face cover. Face covers and social distancing will still be required as you line up for the safety check and are near the launch control area. You are responsible for supplying your own face cover.

Follow the thread on the website Forum for any further updates.
