The third of five Acton launches this season will be on 15 July. Acton is a low- and mid-power field so no high-power rockets and, as always, no sparky motors. This launch is not registered as an NRC event as this season is closed; the new season starts after NARAM so our August launch will pick it up with this season's categories.

The weather forecast is improving according to Windy but still showing rain through the morning. We will set something up around 11:30 and fly what we can. We may have a clear shot through 4 but be ready to have a pause or early ending. Plenty of volunteer opportunities left to sign up for.

WildmanCT Rick is planning on coming to visit so be ready to drop some green at his trailer. We'll also have another vendor on site with his parachutes.

COVID-19 is still around but we won't be requiring tracing forms. If you feel you want to take precautions, please do so. As always everyone should be courteous of others.

Set up will be at 11:30. Help out with the activities and you'll enjoy the day that much more.

Still looking at an 11:30 set up. We'll put up fewer pads but will fly as we can and the weather permits.

Vendors will be on site so bring your wallets and restock.

So I goofed on believing the weather forecasts. We had no rain but plenty of heat and humidity. 277 flights with every parking space filled. Thanks to the vendors who supported this launch and to all who help set up, tear down and run the launch.
