The second of five Acton launches this season will be on 10 June. Acton is a low- and mid-power field so no high-power rockets and, as always, no sparky motors. This launch has also been registered as an NRC event so bring your contest rockets. This will be the last NRC event we hold before it closes down for the year; new events will be announced next month.

The weather forecast is deteriorating according to Windy. We will set something up and fly what we can as the rain doesn't look to be too heavy at any time. It is quite likely we'll shut down early. Plenty of volunteer opportunities left to sign up for.

COVID-19 is still around but we won't be requiring tracing forms. If you feel you want to take precautions, please do so. As always everyone should be courteous of others.

Set up will be at 9:30. Due to the weather, it will likely be a reduced set up. Help out with the activities and you'll enjoy the day that much more.

A few cricketeers were on the field when we arrived but some gentle persuasion and them checking with their club leaders convinced them to leave without any fuss. We had a couple of rain delays but missed the real heavy rain that was experienced just a couple of miles away. 210 total launches from MicroMaxx to G80 (our max limit).

Next launch is scheduled for 15 July.
