Centuri Screaming Eagle, original 18mm power size clone with 3D printed fin can, min dia 13mm 2D printed (cardstock) downscale, and a 29mm kit bash using the Estes Prowler PSII E2X kit with plywood TTW fins.




eRockets/SEMROC retro repro Centuri Excalibur 18mm power, cardstock 13mm downscale STING, and scratch 24mm power upscale MACHETE. (I made Boosters for the 13mm and 18mm power versions)



The 18mm power original size were both part of the first launch set I had as a kid, the Centuri BIG SHOT.

The rocket is normally called a "Sea Killer". I love this 12 fin design but the guys on here that did this for me years ago on Open Rocket, tell me that I would have to scale back the forward fins to about 1/2 of the original size kinda like Estes seemed to do with the Marte 2 kit.

Estes was a huge influence on me more than 50 years ago. I have now gone HPR and building my LOC Black Brant X to get my Level 2 cert. I had to start upscaling some of the kits I built a long time ago that brought me so much joy for this hobby. Here are a few.

The payload section in the photo is 6" and the original Scrambler is next to it

I think the guy who did the upscale last name was Stanley.
It was around 2004 or 2005
