Cheap Camera on a Minimum Diameter Rocket

I am planning on building a Wildman mach 2 and flying it on an an L1000. I want to add a cheap camera (under $50) to the rocket and was wondering what the best option would be. The Additive Aerospace camera shrouds seem to cause a lot of drag. I was wondering if I could mount the camera on the inside of the altimeter bay. Does anyone have a method that works for them or any ideas?
