I'm wondering if an Astro-Cam goes stupid and records glitchy and garbled video, if it's more likely that the camera or the TF card going bad?

I had a second Astro-Cam get stupid this summer and I'm likely to retire it.

Don't know, but I've had a couple of problems when my rockets get delayed on the pad for various reasons so the video files get too big. Then I can't open the files except with lower res resulting software.

Quality micro-SD cards are readily available so try one before retiring the camera. Estes is using something pretty cheap and mine was bad out of the box.

Update: I replaced the TFs in the buggy couple of 'Cams and tested them as improvised dash-cams on a drive from Omaha to Onawa. The cameras seemed to get a lot smarter.
