Hi all! I am 36, and live in Vermont. When I was 8, my Brother gave me my first Model Rocket Kit. I was hooked instantly, and became an avid Model Rocketeer. All of the Rockets I built back then were Estes Kits up to D Motors.
As I became a Teen, my interest faded. In my early twenties, I built and flew the Aerotech G-Force, and a Scratch-Built for G80 Motors that I enjoyed. Both were sadly lost to the Trees eventually, and then I joined the Army.
Just the other day, I realized how much I missed the Joys of Rocketry, and started watching Youtube Videos of Rockets.
Anyhow, I've ordered a few Books off of Amazon, and have decided to get back into it.
Glad to be here on the Forum, and hope to learn a lot from you guys/gals.

Run away while you still can! It's like a vacuum in here, It'll suck you in!
Where in VT.?

Welcome I have been launching rockets off and on for over 42 years. I wish I had all the collectible ones I throw away years ago.

Thanks for the Warm Replies! I have Dreams of Outerspace Flights and whatnot. I'm sure that by the Time I'm 78-98, I won't only be a Dreamer.
Until' then, I'll Re-Live "Dr. Who" Episopdes in my Dreams.

Welcome back and most importantly "Thank You for Serving in the U.S. Army"

You can watch it for real on BBC, no? Anyway, welcome! Get ready, hold on tight, it's going to be a great ride! I thank you for your service as well!

Welcome back and thanks for serving! The hobby is growing quickly these days and I'm sure you will have lots of fun again.

Hopefully there is a club near your location. As much fun as I had in my first year back in the hobby, it's been much better since I started flying at club launches. I get the benefit of watching others fly as well.

Thanks for all the Welcomes. There is only one Club in Vermont, and it's all the way up in Essex Junction, but I will try to get as involved as I can.
