my first time going to a big event like this.
I am strictly a Low Power Rocketry guy.
I want to fly as much as possible, but not be a pad hog or annoying.
How many rockets should I bring, and about how many launches should I expect per day?
Thanks in advance.

Bring as many as you'd like and launch as often as you'd like. Number of launches will depend on crowds and how the launch is setup. Last year at NSL they had two banks of pads, so one could launch while the other was loading, it worked really well. There was a line-up for LPR pads in the middle of the day. No line-up first thing in the morning and later in the afternoon.

If you prep all your rockets beforehand and fill out flight cards ahead of time you can likely launch a rocket every 30 minutes or so if you'd like.

Have fun! Big launches are a great place to see a wide variety of rockets.

Thanks!

Are flight cards available in advance of the first day?

And this shows just how newbie I am to big launches, can someone post a pic of a flight card? I have never used one (our RSO in Memphis just looks at my rockets, shudders a bit, and calls a heads up launch! I am sort of a DaddyIsABar wannabe!)

Plan on getting most of your flights early as the wind often kicks up in the afternoon. Stay for the night launches which are a blast!

NSL and other national launches do not typically put a limit on flights. I would say if you tackling another flyer to get to the pad, you are probably trying to fly too much.

Thanks!

Depends on the launch. Some will have them for you to print out ahead of time, but most just have them at the launch. Usually I grab a stack at registration and fill them out back at my tent/table for the rockets I have prepped.

Here's an example :
