I can get drug free cattle beef here but it costs a fortune. I usually wait till chuck roast and Boston Butts are on sale at the grocers and grind my own burger and sausage meat. Still, the burger ground from just plain old grocery beef is 10 times better than any ground beef your average store stocks. Get this....Most grocery stores don't even grind their own. They buy it already ground and run it through the grinder again to make it look pretty. I'm an eye witness to that. I know my burger isn't straight from a drug free cow and my Boston B's are prolly not drug free either, but they sure taste better than that processed crap already made. And I know there's no "added ingredients" / mystery fillers and such.
GEEZ! They just recalled ANOTHER 50,000 pounds of ground beef this week. How many thousands does that add up to for the year?
