I guess I too will "close out" a bunch of my un-answered posts.
For the record, ALL of these films are worth seeing and recommended......a number of them are absolute must-see's.

These are from two films, the first being "Abres Los Ojos" (1997), a Spanish film, and the second being "Vanilla Sky" (2001), an English remake. The neat thing is that Penelope Cruz (in the first 2 pics) played the same character in both films. "Vanilla Sky" also featured Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, Jason Lee, Tilda Swinton, Kurt Russel, Michael Shannon, and Timothy Spall.
The connection from this post to #1560, is that in that post an actor also played the same role in the original/British "Death at a Funeral" (2007), and the American remake "Death at a Funeral" (2010).....that being Peter Dinklage.

These three sort of have a theme wherein the main character may or may not actually have special powers or be a sort of super-hero. Most of my posts are films that really aren't all that obscure or unknown, but a couple of these are more so.
#1 - Mindhorn (2016)
#2 - Safety Not Guaranteed (2012), featuring Mark Duplass, and Aubrey Plaza.
#3 - Special (2006), featuring Michael Rapaport
#286 -
Frank (2014), featuring Michael Fassbinder, Domhnall Gleeson, and Maggie Gylenhall

Illuminata (1998), a John Turturro film, featuring the likes of Christopher Walken, Ben Gazzara, Susan Sarandon, Donal McCann, and Beverly DAngelo.
I honestly didn't think that most of these would be all that hard. Oh well.
