Good job on the finish !Big Bertha build. I masked the rocket so I could spray the two fins black. After drying overnight, I removed the masking and I almost have a completed rocket! I think the filets and lines on the paint look pretty good. The entire finish is nice and smooth and shiny
...clear coat ?Good job on the finish !
...what did you use for the paint ?...and clear cocoa
Am I crazy or have you built a ton of Berthas?Big Bertha build. I masked the rocket so I could spray the two fins black. I have 3. It's my favorite. I'm slowly working to building a fleet When I was young I just glued them together, sprayed color on them, and went launching. Nowadays, I'm trying to learn how to get a really nice quality finish. So each build I try new techniques.Am I crazy or have you built a ton of Berthas?
I have best luck with an air brush & trying various paints....just sayin' !?I have 3. It's my favorite. I like the wide fins, extended out from the body.I wonder how they affect stability?I have the Cricut machine out waiting for the green vinyl to show up for my 4” Mighty Mick graphics.
I may have overdone it on my low power Praetor re-finish. This old rocket was missing a fin, another was broken. It’s been sitting on the bottom shelf for at least a decade. it inspired both a mid-power upscale and a big 4” high powered upscale. It deserved to fly again.
Leave me alone with a vinyl cutter and you never know what will happen. I haven’t decided if I like it or not…but I’m not changing it yet.

Bruce,. PM me your postal address and I'll send you a plastic care package.Very little. Humidity is at 93 percent inside the farmhouse, so I can't even get wood glue to dry on these shrouds...

The A motor holder is printed for whatever size you said you wanted

Yeah yeah. And I'm sure all your roos up the top paddock are meant to be there....And you sent that PM before I'd finished typing.......Shall do. To paraphrase the other Bruces, "She'sYou're a goodShielabloke, Bruce, and not at all stuck up."
Wotcha makin?Quickie-Gantt charted my current rocket build. If I'm going to make Spudnik, it's going to be extremely tight. This day-job is seriously getting in my way right now. #firstworldproblems
