As usual ,very well done :handshake: AND it`s not even done yet !

I`m so jealous right now ,as up here...the painting season is finished ,at least for my high power projects %$#@*&^% :( ,so I guess it`s time for the small paint booth and smaller projects. That usually means TLP kit time ;)

Nice work friend !

PS- you may want to be Krylon`s PR man !!

Thank you, thank you very much.

At this time I would like to point out to all the Krylon haters, this Rascal is painted using 100% NEW KRYLON paints.

How do you like them apples?

Very nice! I particularly like the bevels you put on those fins...

And a Krylon question: do your cans say something in biggish letters on the front label to the effect of "Dries in 10 minutes" (or some other quick time)... or maybe "handle in 10 minutes" or something like that?

I've had two kinds of recent issue Krylon enamel. The ones with the 10 minute label worked pretty well, the other... not as well, at least in my hands.

Now that's a slick finish. All the prep pays off. And, of course, the beautifully beveled fins just sets that model apart. I like the paint scheme. Real nice work.

Thank you for saying so.

Here's a picture of the Krylon paints used (krylon primers not shown).

Each time paint is applied, the rockets handle goes into a milk jug weighted down with gravel. You can now move the rocket around.

For at least three days, nothing touches the rocket. Go find something else to start or work on.

The piece of tape on the handle is a time/date stamp.

Taking the time to post all those good comments is appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for the paint details. Yes, those Dries in 10 minutes versions of Krylon enamel have worked pretty well for me, as long as I'm patient and let them sit. You have mastered the patience thing!

Surely you wouldn't be thinking of painting your Rascal Neon Pink and Black, now would ya laddie?

Funny you should mention that.

This afternoon I painted the nosecone of my LOC Onyx a nice bright fluorescent pink and will be doing the fin can in metallic black night.
