Crocs are my lightweight "camp shoes" for backpacking trips. One trip I got this exact burn on my feet. It took MONTHS for the dots to go away completely, and until then, my feet looked like they had some kind of Star Trek alien camouflage spots on them.

So, Tom Hanks was on Kimmel, promoting the movie "Sully" which opens Friday (I plan to see it next week). The movie is about Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger, who piloted US Airways Flight 1549 to a safe water landing on the Hudson River, after losing both engines after many birds in a flock of geese got sucked into them.

The movie is about the accident and what he went thru afterwards when there were questions as to whether he really needed to ditch instead of making it to an airport runway.

Anyway...... a surprise guest was Capt. Sullenberger himself. And since Tom did a movie about Sully, Kimmel's show did a trailer for the movie "Hanks", starring Capt. Sullenberger. Pretty good, and with another surprise guest star (well, two guest stars if you count "Wilson")

A few weeks ago we had a pretty good storm come through. A small micro burst shredded the branches off one of our trees. Our highly trained and motivated property maintenance team did a bang up job of getting rid of the damaged branches----I'm still trying to figure out why they left the 7 foot stump with that little growth you see--JUST CAN'T MAKE THIS STUFF UP!!
