Allegedly the attack on the Death Star in "Star Wars: A New Hope" was based on "The Dam Busters". See for yourself...

Lucas even stated that in an interview. Dam Busters is his favorite movie.

And actually quite appropriate for an internet forum....

HOW TO WRITE GOOD

1. Avoid alliteration. Always.
2. Prepositions are not words to end sentences with.
3. Avoid cliches like the plague. (They're old hat.)
4. Eschew ampersands & abbrevtns, etc.
5. One should NEVER generalize.
6. Comparisons are as bad as cliches.
7. Be more or less specific.
8. No sentence fragments.
9. Exaggeration is a billion times worse than understatement.
10. Parenthetical remarks (however relevant) are unnecessary.
11. And always be sure to finish what

We have a cat kinda like this. Doesn't know how to hit the litterbox. Won't eat unless one of us stays in the same room with the food. Can't jump (it's a HUGE fat cat) and can't understand why my daughter's cats don't want to play with it when she brings them over.

Maybe someone can translate that second line

"American special forces versus a Russian* farmer."

*I had to guess at the "Russian" part, as my Russian/English dictionary (aka Google Translate) doesn't know what "rasyeskova" means, and it looks like a weird form of the adjective that I wouldn't have learned in 1st-year Russian.

It's a deliberate misspelling, colloquial-like. Cf "Merkan."
