Can anyone confirm the balsa thicknesses for the DeeCee Thunder?

According to the scans on the JimZ site, the balsa thickness for the canard and main wing is 3/8”. This is far thicker than even the 1/4” fuselage. I believe the correct thickness should be 3/16”, not 3/8” as noted on the scans. The slots on the fuselage seem to bear this out, as a 3/8” wing would be far thicker than the fuselage and hang below it. See pics below.

3/8" is overkill & would make it REALLY heavy.
