My GAM-77 Hound Dog Missile. 1st launch off a 36" guide. Not great but successful. 2nd launch off a 6' rail was much better.

This is the first Hound Dog Missile I built. Pretty and flies perfectly on a D12-3, but not accurate at all.

Back in the early 1970's I worked on the 1:1 model - AGM-28B Hound Dog. About the size of an early model F-16. I still have a North American Aviation IRAN tag - Inspect, Repair As Necessary.

My friend that designed the first Hound Dog, his Dad worked on them too. Whats the difference between the GAM-77 and the AGM-28B?

I just got my kit yesterday. It looks great and as we can all see here will build into a very unique and cool rocket. I admit, it's not going right to the very front of the build mountain, but I'm very glad I got one.
