Actually, it is. Many Asian countries use what are called "Squat Toilets", and people from there are loathe to actually sit on a toilet in public from the fear of picking up a disease.

I've actually witnessed someone in the stall next to me attempt to do it (squat on a sit toilet), and they ended up pissing all over the floor.

Either reverse your wheelchair into the toilet on the left, or steal someone's zimmer frame and use the toilet on the right. In the event of fire, run somewhere.

I don't know of anybody that has picked up a disease that can be directly credited to a toilet seat. BTW, I've heard that some Asian toilets are pretty bad by our standards.
