Any difference from making the jumó between 1000 to 2000 ? Surprised there’s no 1500 but the results speak for themselves
Wet sanding with 1500 grit between the 1000 and 2000 would just add unnecessary work. I remove almost all of the orange peel with 1000 grit. That's the long slow part. The 2000 grit wet sanding is just to get rid of any remaining orange peel and to remove the 1000 grit scratch marks, so that goes more quickly.

Of course, if you don't do a thorough job with the 2000 grit wet sanding then you are going to have more work removing swirl marks when you polish.

Very impressive.

I tend to bow out at 330/440 grit, and I break things.
