Hi Larry, any information on camping?
Posting photos for Larry. He will respond with info shortly.
If your interested in camping call me 24-7 at 716-628-1880 I will try to hook you up.
There still plenty of room for tent campers and pop ups. If you see the map. We have a lot of room in tent area 1 & 2. Theres a chance we can get you power but that ill work out individually. Camping is a great way to go and were 1 mile from the field.
The pics on post 152 are from yesterday 6-12-19 As you can see the field is dry and flat with not a stitch of anything growing. You cant make this sheet up. Registration is closing In the next few days so get registered and get your raffle tickets at the reduced rate. 20 tickets for $15 vs a dollar each on the field.
Thank you Jerry for posting that its great info.
Ready for color
Getting it ready for color... LoL! This is beastly. And just so everyone knows... Joe really knows his stuff when it comes to finish/paint... I think I'm doing more harm than good.
Larry... Yo... Let's talk raffle. Gimme a call.
Another Raffle Donation - This Just In!!
Quicksilver, a HAMR-38 set
Just a few of the rockets that I'm bringing... The Jart on the left is a repair that hasn't flown in years; fixed it and finally painted it. The Skunk Ace is sitting over a heater to help the clear cure, love that Blue Fiberglass!
We'll see what else makes it into the box for the trip out to NY, but the big Jart and the Skunk Ace for sure. Maybe I'll bring the whole Jart family? We'll see...
Maybe I'll bring the whole Jart family? We'll see...
There's no such things as to many Jarts!
Now that is one big rocket. is that puppy coming east ? wow it looks like you locked joe in the shop with sand paper.
Love that blue Skunk Ace, Erik. That deserves clear only....
I was just noticing that there are still a lot volunteer positions open. If you are coming, consider helping out for a shift or two over the weekend. One easy job is low power pad manager...
For anyone who is interested, I will be at URRF with a drone with 4K video capabilities. I have arranged with the organizers to shoot as much footage as I can and share it with them and I would like to extend that offer to any fliers who would like overhead footage of their setup or launch. As I am flying my own rockets I cannot guarantee my availability but if you are interested, please PM me so we can make arrangements.
The mega menace is looking great it gets its topcoat tomorrow and then the sticker shock treatment
Then it gets a 98 in the tailpipe!
It’s all fun and games until someone gets a 98 in the tailpipe
Is crazy jim coming I remember the jart builds he helped my daughter with. She will be there this year but a little older.
No Crazy Jim has put roots down in Georgia
Online Registration will close tonight. If you have not yet registered, or bought those extra raffle tickets....the time is now......or you can pay a little more and do it on the field....

Who is the lucky guy doing the sanding?
That's Joe Rice. His paint jobs are phenomenal. I'm learning a lot... Mostly patience.
What's this big thing...?
The "MEGA MENACE" gets Sticker Shocked tomorrow.
Pre- Registration is Now Closed. See all of you at the field. You can register in- person during URRF
W have an additional Vendor for URRF! XroxAero www.xroxaero.com. They have donated 7 Prizes!!! 2-MK3A Rebel Kits, 3 MK6 Streak Kits. 1 Vertical display Stand and 1 Set of Simple Display Stands
We're ready... Are you?
The MEGA MENACE is done. We can't wait to fly it Saturday. I really want to say a special "thank you" to a couple guys that helped to make this happen. Without all the time and effort that Joe Rice and Erik Czerwin spent helping on this project we would never be able to get it off the ground......literally. Thanks Again!!
I second that.
Joe and Eric put one heck of a paint job on this beast.
I got a subtle reminder today how much of a pain large decals are to put on.
